This borescope/camera system is very easy to use. I was able to open the box, plug the camera, turn it on and take high quality pictures. I used it to investigate a leak in my sewer system and was able to identify a crack in the pipe where water was coming in. Having the ability to look both straight ahead and sideways as it moved through the pipe was a definite plus. The semi-rigid pipe made it easy to move it through the pipe without it kinking. The only problem was that the lens picked up some muck as it moved along the side of the pipe. This was easily corrected by backing it out and cleaning the lens. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend it.

I bought this scope to fish some new networking cables in my walls. It was the smartest thing I did for the whole project. The camera is easy to use and was invaluable for my project. The picture was bright, the attachments were useful (I accidentally dropped a tool in between my walls and used this scope to fish it out in just a few minutes.) This 16 foot length was perfect for getting through walls and crawl spaces. It takes a little bit of work sometimes to get it moving in the direction you want--it's just a stiff cable. But once you've got it in the right position, it's well worth it. The battery time is just so-so, but it recharges quickly so it wasn't much of a downside for me.I've used it dozens of times since my purchase and it's the greatest!

I purchased the K&F Concept Inspection Camera 8MM, Industrial Endoscope-Borescope, 16.4 ft Cable for my husband to diagnose problems inside a wall in our home and view difficult to reach gutters on our home. However, he has not really used it since he unwrapped it on his birthday:)I've been using it for all sorts of things...looking...inside a wall, underneath the refrigerator, inside the vacuum hose for a clog, inside the dryer vent, down a drain that was clogged, inside our toilet bowl, underneath beds, inside my mouth for a molar that was cracked (easier to see holding the device screen up to a mirror so the image is not reversed),behind some heavy furniture, underneath the hood of my car, underneath my car, etc!!In short, it has been the most useful birthday present I ever purchased for my husband! :)

I was in dire need of an endoscope for use in my home services business, but was dismayed when I started researching the available options and the prices associated with the products I was finding. When I came across the K&F Concept Inspection Camera I was immediately skeptical of the reasonable price, but thought I would investigate a bit further. I put a lot of stock in K&F Concept customer reviews, most of which were quite positive, so I took a chance and ordered the endoscope. I'm happy to say that the product has exceeded my expectations! It's easy to use, and does exactly what I need it to (mainly in-wall inspections, some automotive work, etc.). FANTASTIC PURCHASE!!!

I used this endoscope to help route a mini split HVAC lineset from an attic conversion to a basement through wall chases. It helped find the proper path and easily identified where I needed to cut into spaces to remove obstacles. About the only improvement I could imagine would be to include depth markings on the endoscope sheathing so I would know how far I was into a cavity. The length of the endoscope allowed me to traverse two floors in the wall cavities. The built in light and side view made it easy to navigate and determine where I was looking. This replaces a Dewalt endoscope that was far more expensive and nowhere near as clear or useful. I highly recommend.

I should have bought one of these years ago! Seems I am always running cables and wires through walls for various audio, video and computer networking projects. No more guess work on which route to take. When I'm not doing projects in the house, I am in my shop working on cars, trucks, tractors, etc. I am finally able to get a visual between the engine and firewall, under and behind the dash, above the fuel tank, along the frame of the vehicle, and countless other tight spots that have always been a nightmare to work on. This thing can pay for itself in one use if it means you don't have to remove components just to get an eyeball on a certain area of the vehicle. I love this tool! Easy to use. Has a sharp image. Tube is rigid enough to run vertically, yet very flexible and plenty long enough for most jobs. The dual cameras are a plus. Great battery life. Even the protective storage case is high quality! I would buy again in a heartbeat!

I have carefully compared the specifications of most of the different endoscope cameras offered here. I limited myself to the price range between 100 and 300 euros, since I will probably only need the device a few times a year, but of course I didn't want to buy a toy either. The part was delivered complete with all accessories in a semi-rigid soft case and makes a quite valuable impression overall. After plugging in the camera, which is only 5 mm narrow and mounted on the 5 m long, easily malleable hose, and setting the date, time and language selection, the device was immediately ready for use. My first test arrangements were initially limited to the usual examinations of drain pipes, machine views and ventilation shafts and the inner workings of the computer or looking for small parts under the cupboard. After a little practice and variations in LED lighting, quite good images were consistently achieved, and in ranges from 30 to 100 mm also very sharp. Of course, it remains to be seen how the part will hold up over a longer period of use.

My plumbing outfit is normally pretty competent but they charge $300 bucks for just about any visit and work they do. I had ** subtle ** leakage in a cramped area behind the tub in my bathroom that was dripping to the floor below. Plumber couldn't get to root cause. The camera showed me that our clawfoot tub has progressive corrosion around the underside of its drain causing leakage and that also, a nearly hidden pipe that goes up to the shower never had it's sealing ring tightened.I turn on the shower and this camera IMMEDIATELY shows the leak spurt out at a particular location - i.e. immediate cause & effect evidence. The picture is very clear. The ability to take pictures and even movies for what you find puts it over the top.* Comes with a decent case and a perfunctory owners manual.* Battery is replaceable.* I have been able to get things done without referring to the manual much. The ONLY thing that threw me off for a moment was 1) being unable to find the micro-USB port to begin charging (It's behind a skinny strip of rubber seal you can pull back) and 2) It took me a few minutes to realize that I didn't have to add a USB card as they were actually nice enough to provide a 32GB one.* The cord is pretty darn long and is very armored. Slight frustration: You'll spend most of your time adjusting and wrestling with the fiber optic cord/snake to get it just so. But that's life eh?SUMMARY: While this is my initial use, I can say that - at this point - I can recommend this product. It's one of those things where I don't envision using it but once a year but when I need it, it will come in very handy.EPILOGUE:I could have used this years ago while doing electrical work in our turn of the century older house (non standard studs) and also when I was mounting big screen TV. At that time, the way I had to gather info was circumstantial: pounding on wall, stud finder & drilling a hole or two and patching later. This device would have solved all that and saved me a lot of time.

This tool is a must have not just for a mechanic. An HVAC service tech. A sewer repair tech but anyone who has to do inspections or look for problems in almost impossible places. I am a retired Diesel technician and Diesel and Automotive instructor at one of our local community colleges. In my profession they had small scopes with short cables and to some extent those were good but what if you needed just a foot more to let you be able to see what your problem was? And with this tool you can also switch over to look at the side ( say you were looking in a cylinder or the inside of an exhaust pipe ). I also used this to look in my home sewer to locate a blockage 11 feet away from where I started. And since I could see what the blockage was, years of soap and grease build up, I was able to unplug it with one of the attachments that comes with the kit. This tool is a must have for just about everyone. Looking in a roof gutter to see a blockage. Looking under the refrigerator to look for something you dropped. It literally has thousands of uses. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. You won't be sorry and you can't go wrong. The end has lights in it so being able to see things in dark places is a snap. The first time you unblock your sewer and didn't call a plumber it just paid for itself. If your unsure about your ability to use this or any other tool please call a professional. Your own safety comes first but for the rest of you DIYer's you won't know how you ever got along without it. John Wingert

I ordered this endoscope because i grew tired of cable connections being lost under floors or not knowing where beams and studs were in walls. I work in trade show booth production and installation. That means complex installs are done under terrible times pressures and sometimes mistakes happen. If an electrical connection is severed under the floor - if you have to fish a sound cable from here to there - this endoscope will quickly show you what you lost, what got disconnected or what path you take. The neck length is perfect - long but manageable - the screen is bright and clear - the battery is more than enough. The build quality is excellent. For my purposes this is the perfect endoscope. Also nice case. It came quickly. I couldn't be happier.
