The filter does what it is supposed to do, it extends the exposure time. I haven't noticed any vignetting or wrong color reproduction so far. And so I'm satisfied. The packaging of the filters is very good and practical, which some higher-priced filters are not so good at.

The ND 1.8 filter is very good for the low price. The image becomes slightly more bluish with the filter. The deviation can be quickly corrected for both photos and videos. No loss of sharpness. The filter can be used in a 4x4 inch matte box, although 100x100 mm is actually a bit too small. Compared to 4x4 filters in the €200 range, I find the value for money excellent.
Very good value for money - minimal staining

I've been taking photos as a hobby for several decades, first analog, then of course almost exclusively digital for 15 years, i.e. I've seen and tried out a number of photo accessories over the years. With the filter I bought here, three things were decisive. 1. The quality, I've spent too much money unnecessarily on useless photo accessories 2. The price, I don't see an point in spending more money which you can't see in the photos afterwards anyway 3. The durability and expansion of a plug-in filter system Attached Image with the graduated gray filter All points speak for this product. The filters are quickly attached, make a stable impression and are supplied in a practical case. The plug-in filter system is more than useful for the hobby photographer. In any case, I wouldn't want to be without it in my photo bag. I can't understand the fact that the filters are difficult to insert, which is often criticized here, on the contrary I even find this important because otherwise the filter could quickly fall through. After more than half a year and several sessions, I can only say about the durability of the filters, so far nothing has been scratched or even broken. Conclusion: Anyone who takes photos knows that this hobby can sometimes cost a lot of money, and often with this hobby it really is so; "If you buy cheap, you buy twice". However, I don't have the impression with this product that the more expensive competitors, who also offer plug-in filter systems, do it so much better that the surcharge would be worth it here. That's why I can only recommend this system

bought the filter holder system together with a soft GND filter. In contrast to many, I still see a clear advantage in using such a gradient filter. The adapter rings cover all possible lens diameters, are made of metal and fit perfectly. Because of the tight mechanics on the right, I always equip the actual filter holder with plug-in shafts for a maximum of 2 filters before locking it on the adapter ring, which is less fiddly. The holder can be easily rotated so that it can be slanted, but it holds well and does not slip further by itself. The filter itself is also very secure and has to be pushed with force, but this secures it against falling. I like it. The filter is optically of good quality and shines with fairly good color fidelity. Reflections have not been a problem so far, although, and this is the only shortcoming for me, there is a gap between the filter and holder, which could at least theoretically lead to reflections. In the meantime I have closed these gaps on the holder above and below by gluing felt strips there. Now it's completely closed. The cover for the filter is absolutely great! I also bought a very nice ND1000 filter as a supplement. The combination with my circular polarization filter is also no problem thanks to the screw thread on the filter. Conclusion: Sure, there are more elegant, probably optically even cleaner solutions. Sure, there are smoother holders, etc., etc. BUT: the price difference is so exorbitant and gets bigger with each additional filter; I can no longer understand that. I've been using the system for a year now: it hasn't had any unexpected signs of wear and tear, the filter glass is super easy to clean and everything snaps and fits. I'm absolutely thrilled with the quality at this price. Why a star deduction: on the one hand, because I consider the light gap to be a gross design flaw, which, however, is very easy to eliminate. on the other hand, because there are of course better holder systems (and also filters), just for a lot more money! At the price maximum purchase recommendation! For the holder system and the filters.
