The lens is extremely well made and the effects this filter can provide are superb. Excellent construction with precision threads as well as magnetic instant on/off capability. The NANO multi-coating is superb and does NOT produce any artefacts, focus issues or any other issues.

Black Pro-Mist 1/4 filters are used for a number of purposes, not the least of which is to soften skin contrast and create a "dreamy" effect for portraits and general subjects where softened contrast is desired.

As a YouTube video producer, influencer and vlogger, this filter has been fantastic for spontaneous shots and videos when I see a scene or shot that would benefit greatly from some softening... especially of people for live action or portraits when outdoors record in bright light or sunshine. Shadows are not affected and reflections are softened somewhat. Perfect!

I own a number of K&F filters of various types including UV, ND, polarizers and diffusers. I have placed great trust in the company's products without hesitation. This particular filter set offers excellent value for money when compared to much more expensive similar filters such as those from B+W and Hoya whilst offering virtually equivalent performance. I have a Black Mist Pro 1/8 filter that I use quite a bit, but wanted to try a 1/4 for a more pronounced "bloom" in conjunction with a dream sequence I was shooting. I've seen the K&F 1/4 Black Diffusion Filter for about 20% less than the cost of a Black Mist Pro so thought I'd give it a try. I've used K&F filters before and have always been happy with them, although perceived as lower quality filters by some "professionals". I'm happy to say that the K&F 1/4 Black Diffuser is every bit as good as the Black Mist Pro equivalent and achieves exactly the effect I was looking for with no distortion or color cast. And if you consider the magnetic docking system I would say that it's even better than the Black Mist Pro filter (this is the first magnetic filter I've used and I love it). The price/performance ratio for this filer is excellent.

Magnets are magic. Don't get me wrong, these magnets just aren't quite as strong as I would prefer for something covering my expensive glass. The Black Soft Diffusion Filter is interesting. Wouldn't be my first choice next time, but it provides an interesting softening of light sources like campfires, night lights, etc. A bit spooky, but subtle.

The Diffusion Filter "Mist" does what it advertises. It's a softer image with "blooming" lights, especially when backlit.
I double stack my filter with a Prime Lens Effect Dream Filter for an extra dreamy look.
I can only recommend that.

Overall really good quality lens and a breeze to install. The magnetism is strong and the lens cap does not fall off, neither does the filter. It has just the right amount of magnetism to keep everything in place.

I'm a big fan of the magnetic filter kits - this is actually my second from K&F Concept. The magnets are strong enough to provide a secure hold, yet are easy to change without fiddling or fear of falling. p

These Black Pro-Mist filters produce nice effects in my test shots. I love how they look with warm lights, but they also create some really fun and cool effects with colorful studio lighting. I am very happy with this set and would recommend it.

Great filter for night street photography in well-lit situations. Street signs, lights, etc. Give your pictures a very nice, soft glow. During the day it gives a soft, cinematic touch.

I am very happy about this K&F Concept pro mist. I received it tonight and am in love. I have previously ordered a similar diffuser from B&H from another brand and was disappointed, but this one is a whole different story. I love the magnetic feature, it's so intuitive and stupidly easy to use. It matches the picture, maybe even prettier! It is of very high quality and looks exactly as advertised. I love the details, I always try to find great deals like this one. I find it very reasonably priced for the quality it offers, everything about it screams quality. It feels very well made, is durable and easy to use. I really enjoy the design and functionality. At my age I am always looking for products and items that can make my life easier and better in some way. This product has improved my quality of life, I keep recommending it to friends and family, I will defiantly place another order soon. I am very satisfied with it and recommend it 100 percent. I really like the magnetic properties of this black diffusion filter and lens cap set because it's so easy to apply to your lens! This is my first time using a black diffusion filter and I have to say that it creates such an interesting effect by diffusing the light and increasing the contrast that it really gives it a dreamy look that I didn't think was possible .
