Out of the box product was packaged well and felt solid. Carrying case that came with stand is nice an cushioned so kudos to manufacture for providing a nice case, with shoulder strap!Pivot head was a little wobbly at first but that was from shipping/rattling around, rotated a couple times on the center shaft and is now solid. Digging the quick release on the pivot head as well as smooth rotation of 360 degree motion. Screws lock tight and level on ball is a nice reference for level.Legs unpack easily and smoothly to a massive 52 inches to base, then can expand another 27 inches from center shaft! this thing is tall and can easily go over most people's heads when fully expanded!Haven't tried in windy area, but the fact that legs aren't bound together at base means I can adjust legs to any angle. Also, like the fact that the main leg locking mechanism uses aluminum clips despite the fact they moved a little when pressing on them. Plastic leg clips do the job just fine on lower leg shafts. For the money this is a solid tripod!

replaced my first starter tripod with this one and I am very glad I did. I have used it for astrophotography, long exposure at waterfalls, and other landscape photography. I carried it hiking at Glacier national Park as well as a couple other state parks near me. It is not the lightest tripod, but it's not bad. I had never used a ball head before and am still getting the hang of that, but it is certainly very versatile. It has done just fine on wet rocks and uneven surfaces in the various places I've used it including a running creek. I've not used the monopod function and have never had to weight it but it's an option with this tripod. Overall I have been very satisfied with this tripod.

Let me first state that this tripod in hand is heavier than I had expected or hoped, but this is entirely my fault for not paying attention to the item description and reading the unit's weight. While it does weigh more than my other older one, it is as a result more sturdy. More important for me is the functionality I get. Positioning the tripod, extending the legs, and working with the ballhead gives me zero problems. While I do not necessarily need it, I do like the fact it came with a bag as well. Turning this into a mono-pod was easier than I expected. Ultimately I am more than satisfied. The quality of the tripod & ballhead are enough to really make me question why people spend $$$ on certain brand (other than the ego of owning said brand). For amateur to semi-pro this unit will be more than enough. Glad I purchased.

This tripod is easy to use. It's quick to fold up and fold out. One of the legs come off so you can use it as a handheld monopod. I use this everywhere I go. My favorite tripod.

This one feels like a lower quality than previous models I’ve purchased from K&F. The included quick release is nice. Good mechanics and articulations. Overall great tripod.

It is a great tripod! I am very satisfied with it's construction. I am not sure why it does not allow to turn camera in a portrait mode until you unscrew the head a little bit. I added several washers to remove this restriction. It would be nice to have them included in the box in order to have an option to decide if you need that kind of restriction or not. Bit still, that device exceeded my expectations! Well done!

I bought this tripod to mount my Celestron 20x80 astronomy binoculars on. It works great! I'm 6"5" tall and I can stand at full height and use the tripod with the binoculars mounted on it. It's easy to move the binoculars up & down and side-to-side. I couldn't believe the flexibility the tripod provides in height adjustment. Definitely worth the price.
