Great tripod. It does all the normal things a tripod can do such as 2-way tilt, pan, and swivel.

I bought this tripod to replace my top-quality Manfrotto, which has been a trusty companion for over 20 years of professional photography.

I needed a smaller, but still solid tripod to fit in the back box of my Honda 50, along with a large medium format camera, for local photo-trips. I measured the back box interior and noted the dimensions information that was given with the tripod, and it fits perfectly (see photo).

I was a bit dubious about the ball head holding my very heavy camera, so I replaced it with the heavy-duty pan and tilt head from the Manfrotto and it works perfectly. I've put the ball head from this one on the Manfrotto to hold a DSLR that I use for digitizing negs.

No, it's not as sold and robust as the Manfrotto (which cost 3 times as much), and that's to be expected. But it looks like it will do the job, and saves me from putting a really heavy tripod on my back when I go out on the bike!
Just what I needed! Just what I needed!

A surprisingly good tripod for the price. It has many features that you normally only find on more expensive tripods, such as a weight hook and an easily rotating base under the ball head to make panoramic shots easier and more horizontal. The tripod has a good weight but is not too heavy. It's perfect for an amateur photographer especially since it comes with a very high quality case. Even the suitcase has a few different carrying options. There's a two-piece handle that can be tied together to keep the bag closed, and there's also a shoulder strap that can be easily removed. To increase stability, there is a hook under the main bar that extends when the weight is attached to it. If you want to take pictures outside, you can just bring a bag, load a few rocks into it when you get to your location, and add 20-30 pounds to your tripod like that. Anyone who's used a lightweight tripod knows how frustrating winds can be, and a little extra weight in the right place can make all the difference.
A truly impressive tripod. Solid, stable and many functions at a professional level. A truly impressive tripod. Solid, stable and many functions at a professional level. A truly impressive tripod. Solid, stable and many functions at a professional level.

Preface:

Hello friends, I have been practicing photography for about 2 years and it has also become my daily hobby. That's why I wanted to improve my old equipment. At the beginning, I had a tripod at 20 € and I acquired my first experience with it. Like many of you, I wanted more possibilities and more comfort in photography. Now I would like to describe my experiences and the differences with a $20 tripod for beginners. So you can make up your own mind about whether a more expensive tripod is worth it for you.

Quality and differences compared to cheap tripods:

After the product arrived, I noticed the first difference, the material of the bag was a little thicker and better. After unpacking the tripod, I checked the construction and clearance of the tripod. I have absolutely no complaints about the metal processing and this is to a very high standard. When you look at a few plastic items, you can tell that not everything has been processed perfectly. Compared to my cheap tripod, the legs can be unfolded individually, which I think gives me a lot more options. The ball joint can also be adjusted much easier, more precisely and above all more comfortably than that of my cheap one. Here I have to adjust 2 axes separately with the lever, which becomes a bit annoying in the long run. However, what most fascinated is the possibility that the tripod has turned around and is thus approaching very close to the ground. These possibilities are usually not offered with inexpensive tripods. So I can finally take calm macro shots and shoot from completely new perspectives. In addition, the dimensions of the pack were decisive for my purchase because I would like to use them while traveling. The attachment that screws into the camera has a very good rubber coating with a profile so that the camera does not reveal itself even if it is turned 90° on the tripod and is equipped with a great goal (definitely know this) . Due to its compact size, K&F has found a solution even for windy days, as this tripod is equipped with a hook at the lower end of the neck to which you can attach your bag or something similar. Overall, I see many advantages to this tripod over tripods in the lower price range:

+ Individually foldable legs = more possibilities
+ Adjust the ball joint for more comfort
+ smaller and lighter packaging
+ Overall very stable even with the extended handle
+ By turning the neck 180°, new perspectives are possible
+ Well thought-out design and convincing

I am very happy with the tripod and particularly appreciate the attention to detail of the rubber pads to protect the camera and to hold the tripod legs! “
I needed a compact and lightweight tripod that I could take with me for work that involved traveling by train or plane.

Right out of the box I could see that this tripod would make a nice compact option for me to travel. It's lightweight (weighs just 1.13kg), folds up quite small (46.5cm) and even comes with its own carrying case (which my Manfrotto doesn't). This tripod comes with a ball head - a different camera handling system than I'm used to. I think I could always consider replacing the ball head on this tripod with a 3 way system for future use.

The build quality of the K&F Concept tripod is what I would call decent, but not revolutionary, but at this price point. You don't get carbon fiber or other high-quality materials, but a magnesium-aluminum alloy and plastic frame. Fully extended a 156cm camera can be mounted, which isn't the tallest height by any means, but I think a tripod marketed as a compact won't be the tallest on the market. However, 156cm is probably big enough for most situations. The center column of the tripod can be mounted upside down for macro photography. Like all tripods I have ever used, the K&F Concept tripod has

I liked the small size and lightness of the tripod to take with you. I have to take a lot of gear with me for the shoots, so it's always good to lighten the load a bit. However, due to its light weight, I wouldn't say this tripod will hold up well in windy outdoor conditions when shooting landscapes. It works well for my main uses and the carrying case is a very handy addition. For the price, it's definitely a decent option for a photographer who travels a lot.
I would buy it again (seriously) I would buy it again (seriously)

The tripod was purchased for use on tours, trips or events.
For photo and video recordings.

What to say, this time the conclusion:
The tripod can be used in many ways, is adjustable in many ways and has a very high quality workmanship.
The following things, analogous to the item description, particularly struck me.
- Hook to be able to attach a centered weight.
- Clip mechanism for leg adjustment
- built-in bubble level
- Finely adjustable spherical head that can be rotated 360 degrees
- Accreditation rod can be flipped over for macro photography.
- Quick release plates can be purchased later.

The possibility of weighting the central point allows the tripod to be installed very stable and without shaking if the environment or the image requires it (long exposure or windy environment). But it stands well, securely and without any extra weight.

Overall, the tripod offers no surprises, but the tripod and its workmanship don't have to hide behind high-priced ""brand reps"".
Therefore, the tripod has become for me a constant and faithful companion, which safely transports my A7II and my D5500.

The tripod convinced me completely, therefore 5 out of 5 stars
and therefore a recommendation from

The tripod comes with a carrying case and is very easy to set up. As a beginner photographer/videographer, I am very satisfied with the quality of the product, but also with the flexibility and design of the product. It folds up into a compact shape and has a number of other uses like tilting, rotating, and setting up that I haven't explored yet.
