Great product I bought it for my Canon EOS M 50 mark 2 and found that it also fits my Nikon d 3500 SLR.

With this adapter I can finally use my old FD lenses on my Canon RP camera! This works amazingly well. Of course you have to focus again manually (focus) there is no more Exif data except shutter speed and ISO values, but what the heck. Mirrorless cameras often have a so-called focus peaking (the focal plane is highlighted in color) This is a good and quick way to get the subject sharp in the right place. I have something to complain about too! The locking ring, which fixes the lens and at the same time ensures that you can adjust the aperture, rotates again and again in the direction of opening. That's stupid, because if you don't check it all the time, the aperture will jump open! Lockable with a button would be better

OM-EOS R is unfortunately misleading, FT-EOS R would be correct. Olympus merged into OM and as far as I know OM only exists in the MFT bayonet version. However, the 50 mm connection is installed, i.e. the "old" FT version, so a star is deducted and returned immediately. Product as such looks valuable.

In no way inferior to the Canon original. The only annoying thing is the non-removable mount at the bottom, which is made for mounting on tripods. It feels a bit weird at first, but I personally got used to it over time. The processing quality is good and robust, I've had 2 of them for almost 2 years and they are still in perfect condition. Costs far less than Canon's original and makes only minimal compromises! Excellent!

treated myself to this adapter to adapt old lenses with the Canon FD bayonet to my mirrorless Canon RP. This works absolutely perfectly. The adapter sits on the EOS-R bayonet without any play and the FD lenses fit snugly on the adapter. Focusing to infinity is possible. That doesn't seem to be the case with all adapters. With the corresponding K&F adapters, I have already had good experiences with my Olympus OMD EM 1.2. It is important that the locking ring on the adapter is first turned in the "OPEN" direction. Then the FD lens with the smallest f-number, eg 1.8 or 1.4, is attached, then the lock is turned to "LOCK". The desired aperture can then be selected manually on the lens. The locking ring on the FD-EOS R adapter is much tighter than on the MFT variant; there he can easily adjust himself in the direction of "OPEN". That's where you learned. Therefore, this adapter receives my unreserved recommendation. I will gradually buy more K&F adapters (e.g. M42) for the RP, simply because I have not been disappointed by the price/performance ratio so far.
