really like this mount. Really solid quality, all metal. Not too close to the camera. Works with my FD lenses that have a push button unlock. Haven't tried it with the older FD lenses with just the rotating ring mount. I love being able to use my older lenses without having to lug around film. It's also great to work with manual controls. Comes with a simple plastic case, has no padding. For the price compared to the other brands, there should have been caps to cover the ends when the lens is still on but needs to be switched to a different lens. Still good.
Good mount for older FD lenses.

The adapter keeps what it promises. The autofocus works very well and the quality is really good for this price. The adapter can be mounted on my camera (canon eos m 100) without any problems. I'm very satisfied!

especially at the price!!! Works and fits great on the EOS M3! Lenses I was able to test: Canon EF 50mm 1.8 II Canon EF 70-200mm 4.0 L IS USM Canon EF-S 15-85mm 3.5-5.6 IS USM Sigma EF 10-20mm 4-5.6 DC HSM These four lenses all work with AF or .Image stabilization, if available. Unfortunately, the Tamron 90mm 2.8 macro USD Di VC SP may not send the AF and image stabilizer, so it only works manually, but delivers suuuuper image quality! In the end, that doesn't bother me either, since manual settings are best for macro photography anyway if you want to get a decent picture. ;-)

My old FD lenses are experiencing a renaissance with these adapters. Great to be able to use them again with the new digital technology. Of course, an automatic aperture transfer does not work with this. Manual setting and exposures with automatic aperture are super possible. Highly recommended.

This adapter does the same job as the original Canon ef/ef-s to eos-m adapter. It is just a structural adapter that has no functionality of its own. I can absolutely recommend it. If you're on a budget buy this or even if you're not on a budget buy this and the extra money for a lens or other gear.

Fast delivery and a well-made adapter! Unfortunately, when I chose the model, I chose EOS M and not EOS, so I unfortunately had to send the adapter back. The transaction went smoothly and very friendly! Thanks again.

I've only used the adapter three times so far and I've always been surprised at how well the adapter works. Attaching and detaching to the camera works without any problems. The adapter sits firmly between the camera and lens. All my lenses, except my Canon L100-400, work without any problems. The L100-400 is too big for the M50. Focusing also takes a long time. But I didn't plan this lens on the small camera either, so no deduction. The adapter only eliminates the difference caused by the lack of the mirror. It has no optical and therefore no quality-changing elements. The autofocus is looped through and works very well.

The adapter is made entirely of metal, sits precisely and is well made. It is delivered in a lockable plastic packaging, which is also suitable for storage and transport. It is a well-known fact that those declared dead live longer. With the mirrorless M cameras from Canon, the old FD lenses can finally be used again without any loss of quality (cheap additional lenses or focus up to a maximum of 3 meters). Of course with a crop factor of 1.6. Manual focus is sufficient for landscape shots. In the lock position, the lenses can easily be stopped down to the aperture set on the lens. In AV mode, the exposure is then automatically set correctly. With my M10, focusing works quite comfortably using focus peaking (color fringes on the screen when the setting is sharp) and, if necessary, screen magnifier. Important: "Release without lens" must be selected in the custom settings in the menu. The quality of the 40-year-old FD lenses (consistently with a yellow cast - here with manual white balance) is unexpectedly good. And the price is very decent.

Yes... it works perfectly with Canon EOS M cameras. I own Canon EOS M10 and use this adapter most of the time with Canon 50mm 1.8 lens. It is amazing. The autofocus is accurate and fast enough. If you own a Canon EOS M camera, I recommend you this adapter because it is much cheaper than Canon original and there is actually no difference between them. Everything works as it should. I love this adaptor. The best purchase I've made for my camera.

Finally a way to use those wonderful old Canon and Tokina lenses and and and again. The adapter is solid and fits perfectly - not a cheap plastic part but a decent metal bayonet on both sides. The aperture is reliably locked so that manual adjustment can be made. The only drawback - there is no operating manual - but it is absolutely necessary. The description here on Amazon doesn't explain anything either - this led to me almost sending the adapter back because the camera - an EOS-M3 - no longer triggered. With another provider I found the important information that you have to select "Release without lens" under C.Fn III - Other - under 2 in the individual menu, otherwise the camera will block. After I had made this setting, there were no more problems - the camera can be operated perfectly. Focus and aperture are set manually in AV mode, the camera chooses the appropriate time - or, with ISO Auto, also adjusts the ISO setting. The great thing is that the old FD lenses are (still) available on ebay for cheap. Word hasn't really gotten around about what you can do with them - not even that they (eg Tokina) were and are excellent lenses. With this adapter they can be used again, and it is also inexpensive - therefore: clear purchase recommendation.
