67mm Black Diffusion 1/2 Filter with 28 Multi-Layer Coatings Hydrophobic/Scratch Resistant
SKU: KF01.1653
Sits well on Fuji x100v. I tried it at night, the diffusion is good and the contrast is also preserved.

Focusing on post-processing shots, I tried this filter with the only lighting from an electric garland and tightened the rendering so that the light from the garland is more diffused and softer. Can't wait to use it in night video when restrictions are lifted.

I know a lot of people say that the black fog effect can be added in the post, but personally I just wanted one anyway. I chose this after watching some YouTube videos because I loved the intensity of the effect. Makes people's skin nice and soft and I get this beautiful bloom. Just sucks, I still have an 8-bit Sony a7iii so I sometimes find that the glow has some small artifacts, but that's from the camera and not the filter, so a 10-outta-10 product for me. Walked in exactly when it should have been. Absolutely no problem.

Let's start at the beginning. What does a "crap filter" do? It ensures that lights get a "blurr effect". In German the lights look a bit hazy. This can create a really cool look in film productions, but is also really useful on photos for portraits etc. For example, a chain of lights in the background of the model or similar Autofocus works 1a with the Sony A7 Mark 2 and the Kito lens. What I find absolutely awesome is the "packaging" or where the filter is stored. Nothing wobbles here! This is rock solid and can even be used for other filter sizes. Oh: Despite the filter, the lens hood and the protective cap for the lens fit without any problems. Processing as always top! no plastic ;-)

So far so good. It adds the right amount of haze for portraits to make it stylistic. It doesn't add too much in my opinion, and the image is still pretty sharp. I've included a test shot below that I took of a friend of mine in direct sunlight with a star filter and an ND filter (using this filter below)

Looks like a great filter for my photos and film but the downside is they sent the wrong filter size with most of my lenses having a filter size of 77mm and they sent a size of 82mm, come on kandf type the size for our lens

This filter is the cinema. It's the perfect power for any video work and photos, although the 1/8 is better suited for regular client work. Watching footage shot with this filter is an experience in itself. Maintaining quality is spot on. My only regret is not buying the 82mm so I don't have to buy more than one. I would recommend this to anyone looking for that "cinematic look". That's it. This is the cinema.

When used on a Nikon D3400 18-55mm it gives great results! Since I was curious to see the result before buying it, I thought some people would like to see a comparison between a picture with the filter and another without the filter...

High quality, great price and does what it is meant to do. This is my first K&F filter and I will be on the lookout for their other products in the future rather than more expensive brands.
