One thing: especially with any heavier camera: when using the exceptionally handy overhead option, make sure the center of gravity is still *inside* the leg angles. Too far forward with thoughtless leg placement, and the thing *will* tip.
I recommend watching a few videos of people using this tripod--it's capable of a few useful variations I would have never even considered, including things I'm not even sure the designer had in mind.

Bought this one because my old tripod is flimsy and at the end of its days. This tripod was pretty expensive so I debated for a while, but I really needed a sturdy professional tripod that I could take outdoors for shoots. It came with a nice shoulder bag so perfect for bringing outside, and it's not too heavy. I'd say even though the price is a little high, it's pretty worth it since the material is durable and you know it definitely won't break easily (unlike my old tripod...).
I bought this specific model so that I could convert it to a monopod at times, which is useful. However, it does take a while (and some thinking) to disassemble and convert to a monopod... it's not as easy as you think, so read the manual! There are so many different functions on this tripod so it was just a bit overwhelming. This was probably more so because I've never had a professional tripod before, just one of those quick and lightweight collapsible ones.
Overall, if you're looking for a durable, steady, and professional tripod this one's a good option. It'll definitely last more than a few years, unlike those flimsy collapsible tripods.

The tripod is large but folds up neatly into the very nice included case. However, it is not what I would consider a backpackable tripod. I use it in my studio or for outdoor shoots that I won't have much of a hike to get to. It is a hefty, very stable model and very adaptable to shooting from all angles, high or very low to the ground.
The seller is great! My first arrived with a jammed leg. I contacted the seller who promptly sent a replacement.

I've lost my previous tripod few weeks ago.
Now I use this one.
Already took with me to the few family celebrations. It does the job well.
I like the new way of legs adjust, so no need to worry about the stable position for camera. The side horizontal position of the camera helps to shoot from the angle.
I'm glad it comes with carrying bag, otherwise I would not take it with me.
One thing to mention, this tripod is very heavy.
Now I use this one.

Simple to use, works well for amateur tourist photos holding your camera or phone.Super light to carry and can fit into a standard backpack.Quite stable across different surfaces.

For my first tripod I wanted something cheap but one that had all the run-of-the-mill features. I'm glad this one had every small detail: spirit level, phone holder attachment, easy adjustment in 3-dimensions, bag (a little flimsy, but it works), 3 different height adjustments (4 including extending just the camera holder), screw to attach camera.The only complaint would be that it's a little light and flimsy. However, given the price it's perfect.

For the price, this is an excellent tripod - nice and sturdy. The remote works well linked to an iphone.
