Depth inside the lens pockets would have been helpful. A few more pockets on the outside of the bag, a must. NOW, if the weight with my equipment packed inside holds up, an improvement.

I ordered two camera backpacks, this one and the large bag by Ececase. They looked similar and to some extent they were. I wasn't sure they weren't the same under different packaging. They aren't the same. The Evecase is smaller. Both have a separate take out case. The Evecase is just that. This backpack has a pull out waistpack and can be used around your waist which is handy if you need more room. I don't think think this backpack is going to fit under an airline seat. In the end I choose this backpack because of several reasons. I needed the additional room and wanted the option to include a change of clothes for when we are flying. This pack is capable of remaining balanced on the end to allow easy access to your camera from above without laying it down. I have rectangular filters in a substantial case which fits better on end. I am also able to fit my Canon 70-200m end on end, plus 3 more lenses, flash unit and controller, plus other camera related items in the upper opening. I put my lenses case in the lower opening. There are a bunch of other storage places, room for a drink on one end and tripod on the other. The zippers were easier to work on this backpack. There was also more room a coMputer in this pack. I have a 13" regular computer and a 10" pad which both fit in the computer opening. Although they fit in the other bag I couldn't close the zipper. The back supporting straps are more comfortable on this bag. The other bag cut into my chest. I think it may be a defective. This bag comes with a huge number of velcro dividers both above and below, many more than I needed. In the event you have to check the bag under the plane on smaller planes, the top is better padded with a rubberized top. This a big bag and fully loaded it can be heavy. I hope I can handle all the weight. Our first trip out will be this weekend..The other bag is a nice bag. It is a bit smaller and you may be able to fit it under a seat.I do have suggestions for an even better backpack. 1. Make the carrying handle more substantial. 2. There are two sleeves in the upper storage area, one of which is open. I plan on sewing some velcro to close off the second open storage sleeve. 3. the straps that hold the tripod need to have quick release belts, not the existing double hole belt which are slower to operate. Again I am going to replace them with the quick release variety.

This bag is everything and more. Many pockets, flaps, could easily fit 17" laptop and cables. One somewhat negative is my D5300 rattles around be inside. The bag comes with additional dividers, so I'm sure I'll be able to come up with a configuration that fits my camera. Please feel to ask any questions you may have.

I didn’t add any photos because I feel like the listing photos showcase it pretty well. Just got this bag and I’m very happy with it so far, haven’t got to test it outdoors yet but it seems like everything I was looking for in a bag this size and the price was excellent for a bag of this size, I’ve paid more for smaller camera bags. It seems well padded inside and out for gear and user. The zippers, clasps and pockets/material seem durable and like they will be able to hold decent weight and will last a while. Aesthetically and ergonomically it looks good and seems to fit well. It’s padding on the back shoulder area is adjustable to user height which seems nice. The inside is entirely user customizable and comes with plenty of padded camera divider inserts - top, bottom and for inside the smaller camera bag. It does come with the smaller camera bag that slides into the bottom, that bag has a waist and a shoulder strap for it. The second smaller bag is nice to be able to just pull out your camera a go for a quick hike, leaving your bigger bag with all your gear behind. There’s also dividers included for the bottom so you could leave the smaller bag and Home and just divide up the bottom compartment for camera gear and fit more in that way. More dividers included for the top part if you wanted to bring lots of gear and have your whole bag for camera gear. You can also take all of the dividers out including the big top/bottom compartment divider at have the interior of the bag one big open compartment top to bottom. The laptop sleeve is well padded and quite large, it fits my 15” MacBook Pro with plenty of room to go and could probably accommodate most 17” laptops. There’s a side access for the laptop which is the most convenient but you can also access it from the top inside the bag. There’s tripod like strap holders on both sides of the bag with the tripod bottom holder on one side. It fits a compact size tripod very nicely, but will probably be just fine if you needed to carry the big full size tripods. Plenty of little pockets and holders all over the bag for random gear and I like the top hard cased pocket. It’s kind of a soft-to-the-touch, somewhat malleable hard flip pocket. It’s durable enough to protect most things and quick easy access to throw your phone in there, but it’s not entirely crush proof. The rain cover included is completely separate for the bag so you could just leave it at home or even throw it on something else if needed, it’s just an elastic band bag that looks like a shower cap that fits over the bag, it fits snug and looks good when on the bag. Even the zipper pulls are nice and ergonomic and fit your finger well. I think that about covers the whole bag well, so far I’m impressed for the price and it will fit in nicely with my selection of camera bags I have. So far I would buy again without question, as long as it lasts, which it looks like it should.

I am not sure where all the negative one star reviews came from. The bag holds my 5D Mrk 4 and three lens in the upper compartment... two of the three lens are huge f2.8.The bottom compartment (with included fanny pack removed) would hold my back up camera with three smaller lens. Now it holds ALL of my close up gear, including a cheap 4x5 led video light, a external 4x5 monitor in case, extension rings and a focus rail slider. I did not try the laptop compartment, but all my accessory equipment, filters, batteries and cards fit in their own pockets.Quality seems what you would expect from the price. ... Its not gold plated BUT I believe it will hold together.

This is a great pack for carrying large amounts of camera equipment, without notifying anyone you are carrying large amounts of camera equipment. Gear can be easily organized and protected. The only fault with the pack is its longevity. I have had mine less than 12 mo., and it is already showing blown seams.

This bag is comfortable, light and the spaces are well though out. I carry D850, 70-200, 50mm and a 17-35mm lenses. Also all my filters batteries and remotes along with a heavy duty tripod and this bag efficiently holds it all with the items bouncing around. Great product...Can't wait for the next generation.
