I was looking for a "travel" tripod... I knew I wanted one under 2 pounds, made of carbon fiber and metal, something compact, with a twist knob and a ball head. I finally came across this one and hesitated because of the price...I decided to bite the bullet and check it out. The packaging was not damaged at all. Once I opened it I was blown away how light and compact it was. I stood it up as high as it went and tested how sturdy it was. I was very impressed. It was exactly what I wanted. The entire tripod is made of strong carbon fiber, the twist knobs are made of metal with rubber grips over them. The ball head is also made of metal. It has a level and compass on the top where you put your camera at. The adjustment knobs on the top of the tripod are made of a strong polymer. For someone who literally will just pick up and go to take photos, travel, backpack, or whatever, it is perfect. It does lack some features, however, those features were not included in the information of the tripod so it is not worth mentioning. Quick summary, it is everything K&F says it is, for the value of this product, it is worth getting!

This is a reasonably light weight tripod that, when setup, is very solid. The setup is easy and intuitive to adjust the legs and then mount whatever you wish with rotate and pan adjustments.
Most recently I've used it as a mount for an iPad holder to do video calls indoor and outdoor. As such, this tripod have functioned flawlessly. It is easy to adjust the height and angle of the iPad for the video calls.
Excellent product, very very useful right now during the 2020 global pandemic.
I hope this helps you.

What a great tripod. I have owned many tripods over the years, and this is one of the best I have. I got this tripod to replace the Samsonite tripod I broke during my last trip. First, it is very sturdy and holds the camera steadily. Typically steady tripods are rather heavy, but this one has a decent weight at around 2lbs. Another thing I really like about it is the material used on the outside. It is some kind of rubber that makes it looks slick, nice to the touch, and does not scatch. Finally, the versatility of this tripod is also a good to have. The 3 feet does not just open, but can flip upside down allowing the camera to be positioned close to the ground if needed be. Very good tripod at a fraction of the price of my previous tripod.

I love the product. I have bought a tripod for traveling off B&H website and paid for it 300+$. And I was looking for one more, for my second camera and I was really surprised with this one. That's how it 's supposed to be: good materials, lightweight, good quality and fantastic price. Thank you!

I have professionally shot medium format photography in NYC for 20 years. I'm used to HEAVY high quality tripods. I no longer need a HEAVY tripod! I'm retired & now shoot with a DSLR, Cannon G7x MII or my cell phone. I'm a big fan of the ball head & the quick release mount included! The carry bag is great to protect and store the tripod. This is fantastic for travel or hiking, getting a selfie or time lapse! It is packed full of professional features!

very fast delivery, careful packaging
This tripod easily converts into a monopod, good stability and very easy to handle, the storage bag is a plus. Very satisfactory value for money

After a long hike or the airport check, anyone can tell the huge difference between the carbon fiber and aluminum tripods. This K&F Concept 61" Carbon Fiber Camera Tripod is the first lightweight tripod for me and I love it. It weighs just 2.6lbs with the bag and needs a little space. First I had concerns about the telescopic feet locking rings. Before I always used "clasp" type locks. As I see they need a little bit longer time to extend the legs but they hold firmly.
This tripod is standing stable, even I use the telephoto lens or had to deal with windy weather.

Age and infirmities have ended my ability to traipse around with Nikons slung around my neck and a heavy field tripod in hand.
That just isn’t going to happen anymore.
Now I shoot mirrorless, action cameras and smartphone. Some of those have internal stabilization that obviates the need for a tripod and I also have gimbals.
Still, there are occasions where a tripod is very useful.
This is practically ideal for my individual circumstances.
It is light: barely over 2 pounds. What a miracle!
It is only 14 inches long when collapsed. It will fit in my luggage or pack. Comes with a nicely done carrying case as well.
Tripod extends to 61 inches, though I wouldn’t go too far away from it when fully extended. Even with a light camera, there’s a chance a breeze could take it over.
The central column is unique in that it has two sections. The column can be reversed for ground level shooting.
The legs snap to two angles. I would have preferred three for greater flexibility, but it’s not a deal breaker.
There’s a small Swiss Acra style mounting plate. The head also has a circular ball level. The ball head is usable, but not out-of-this-world terrific.
The legs are twist-lock. I would prefer snaps, but that would probably have made the tripod less svelte and packable.
For a guy like me, old and infirm, who shoots with small, lightweight cameras, the K&F Concept 61 is just plain terrific, well within my limitations when it comes to setup, deployment and handling.
It’s so light and small that I don’t have to think twice about taking it. Just throw it in the pack. It’s there when I need it.
Gotta love that carbon fibre!
