This tripod is super compact and lightweight. When fully extended it can reach 61", which is very impressive for such a tiny tripod. You can tell by holding this tripod that it's made with top quality materials and construction. It's all metal except for the part of the head where the baseplate sits; this part is made with some sort of tough lightweight plastic. It's a little surprising that there's a plastic part when there's so much metal used in the rest of it, but it feels very tough (it's some kind of high-tech polymer material) so I don't think it's likely to cause any durability issues. The tripod comes with a nice soft carrying case that's branded with the K&F Concept logo and has a shoulder strap. The tripod is very stable even when the legs are fully extended, and there's surprisingly little flex thanks to the strength of the carbon fiber. Of course, such a lightweight tripod has its limitations; don't go putting a Nikon 800mm lens on there in a windstorm, but when used with common sense this tripod is extremely capable.I have lots of tripods for different shooting situations and this is by far my lightest tripod. For traveling light with photo gear, I'd say this is really hard to beat at this price point. This is an excellent tool to have for taking photos off the beaten path where weight is an issue.

For occasional photography or to take it on a trip, it is ideal, since its measurements offer great versatility and its high quality materials, which make it extremely easy to transport. The head type is ball and fully stretched reaches about 1.3m which isn't bad but the most striking thing that bends is just over 30cm, the axles, joints and screws as I was expecting worse but they're pretty well designed and built together and seem very durable and every part with high strength even the ball joint (with full 360 rotation) which although it's not a top model if it has looks manageable and solid, with rubber protections to ensure its longevity. If we lengthen it to the maximum, the legs obviously lose a little stability, which happens even with models of several hundred euros, but it has enough stability to be able to use it with cameras that are not very heavy, the most common of which is at 1.8kg with the lens and it fits perfectly like a ring on the finger and there we see that it is designed to support equipment weighing several kg. As I mentioned, it's very versatile and you can get a lot out of it, even putting the center column together and turning it into a monopod. It turned out better than expected for the price I paid and I'm also confident that if I lose it or have an accident on my travels, I'll buy another one due to its adjusted price. It includes a handy carry bag that I use during my getaways. 8kg with the lens and it fits perfectly like a ring on the finger and there we see that it is designed to support equipment weighing several kg. I've used tripods for over 40 years. I probably have a dozen right now, from travel versions to heavy duty, carbon fiber and aluminum. So why do I think this is nearly perfect - but falls short?**The good points: Really compact and light weight. This will fit inside any luggage, most packs, etc. It can also hang from most sleeping bag straps on packs if you're off on a long hike.Expands to almost 6 feet - but at max extension it's not very stable. Four feet is about the realistic max for a DSLR with 70-200mm lens. For a compact or lighter (mirrorless) camera it's OK.Arca-Swiss style mount plate. The thing just keeps on expanding. And expanding. But wait - there's more. Even the center column expands.Really nice and compact carrying/storage bag.You can't invert the tripod and use it upside-down - but you can remove the center column and reverse it, so it's the same thing. Two leg positions (see photos.)**The mediocre: Well, two leg positions. Many have three or four. These really come in handy in more difficult situations - around and on bounders, stairs, etc.The weight hook unthreads easily. You'll want to use some thread-lock.The feet are not removable, can't be replaced and there's no dirt-spikes.**Negatives: The ball head can not be locked in place so spins off too easily. If you look at almost any other tripod or monopod, there are set-screws in the head mounting plate. These thread upwards against the hear and prevent it from spinning off. None here. So the head can spin off if you're not careful, You'll need to use thread-lock to play it safe. The center column has a nice hook for hanging a weight from. Again, on many tripods this unthreads and there's a standard 3/8-24 thread there so you can mount the tripod head upside down. No 3/8-24 thread. It's much larger. The 3/8-24 thread on the top is locked in place. This is removable on most tripods and monopods and can be flipped over for a 1/4-20 thread. Not here.Flex. Look at the photo of just the leg. There's a few inches of splay/bending with just 7 lbs of weight on the tripod. This can be avoided by not extending the tripod all the way.**Summary: It's still a really nice travel tripod that could be improved. You need to lock the head mounting thread or it will spin off. VERY light weight. If you travel, fly, hike, etc. this is a nice choice. FYI, the hex key is a 5/32 nds.

I'm not a professional photographer by any stretch of the imagination but getting the best shots I can are important to me. I learn more every day.I was drawn to order this tripod because it is compact and lightweight. Also, because the center piece is adjustable which is a feature that makes shooting at various heights much faster and easier.I'm really impressed with the quality of this tripod. It's going to be my go to from now on. From taking photos low to taking them high this will help get the job done. Opening and closing it is smooth and it's put made very well.I've not had time to mess with all of the features yet but do look forward to using this both for travel and at home.I will admit that I couldn't find the manual but eventually discovered it in the zipped inside pocket of the carrying case. Speaking of the case, I wish it was a little larger. It is an extremely tight fit with the case I received and took time to get it closed. I'm concerned about the zipper breaking.I'll be looking the manual over further but, even without it, this tripod is easy to use and worth the price.

What makes this tripod most valuable is it's light weight, compactness and portability. It's not my favorite tripod I own, but it's my favorite tripod to grab and go or travel with. Compared to traditional tripods, this thing is half the carry size and way lighter.LIKES:-Size!!! It's so compact and has no bulk. Easy to stash away.-Weight. Very light and easy to carry.-Small but highly functional camera mount. -Ball head locks super tight with a simple thumb lever. -360* panoramic head with separate tightening knob-Nice carry case with interior pocket.DISLIKES:-A little unstable, especially at small bottom legs, at full expansion-Not a big fan of twist thread locks on the legs. Personal preference of thumb latches.-Fold down arm locks are the pull out/push in type. Prefer the push release ones.-All the moving mechanisms are a little stiff, but i think they'll work in nicely.OVERALL:Perhaps a little nit-picky to give it 4 stars. If you're looking for the most compact and light weight full size tripod, this is 5 stars! But it just lacks some 5 star features and overall quality, but it is right there and a great tripod!

I really love this tripod. I am surprised how compact it is when folded up. Everything expands and it gets tall enough when expanded all the way that I can look directly through my camera without having to lower my head (note; I am 5'11"). The tripod is very sturdy and the knobs and levers are high quality and keep the camera at the angle you want. It is a slick looking tripod and definitely lightweight. This is my new go-to travel tripod because I like how tall it can get despite how compact it is when folded up.

This is my first Carbon Fiber Tripod. My main purpose of buying this tripod is for the lightweight, it only weight 1 kg and very resistible and compact with loading my cameras. I am happy on my purchase. Being able to load a heavy camera, I have tried it with my canon camera with long lens on and weight at least 3kg together and have no problem picturing with it. Very sturdy and adjustable working an any position. Comes with a 3D Panorama Ball Head, very helpful orientating my camera in vertical and horizontal format.

Delivered 2 days ahead of forecast.
Corresponds to the product ordered. The latter seems to be of good quality after a few manipulations.
The supplied carrying case is superb and of solid construction. The patella is well protected by a small velvet cover. Do not hesitate to put a little bit of lubricant on the joints, ball joints and other threads for better use.
I recommend this tripod.
