I took it to my kitchen and living room and tried the quality before I placed it front of the door. It’s capturing not only my front door but my driveway also.

This doorbell chime is the third one we have bought and so far we love it. The indoor chime is super for our apartment which is hard to hear someone at the door from inside. So this is perfect! What we were surprised to find out when reviewing the videos, the chime bell that was plugged in inside the apartment also has a camera! It had a video of us plugging it into the outlet. Who knew?? So I guess if someone breaks in, the little chime will act as a camera and video the intruder. Wow! The quality is great, it was super easy to install, and so far we are thrilled with it. Just hoping it will continue working this well for the long haul. Great bargain for the price for sure.

Picture is taken when the Camera is in direct sunlight., handles the light pretty well. Superb picture and video quality at other times of the day. Night vision is solid, no issues.
