A few years ago, I started beefing up my camera equipment. I had a Canon 5D Mark IV camera body, but didn’t have great glass. So, I started my gear journey by upgrading my lenses. I now have four amazing lenses including a 70-200, 24-70, 100mm Macro, and a Wide Angle lens. After I finalized my collection of lenses, I started looking at accessories I needed to accompany those lenses and came up with a short list of items that included high-quality filters. The problem I had was that I needed to be able have filters that works with all my lenses. Buying filters for each one of your lenses can get really cost prohibitive. So, one solution I found was to get a square filter with step-down rings. K&F Concept has a great option for this type of set-up so I gave it a try.
About a month ago, I shot photos at a wedding on a mountaintop in Tennessee. It was in the middle of the afternoon and the sun was super bright at the location of the ceremony. The venue was huge and I wanted to pack my camera bag somewhat light so that I didn’t have to struggle with tons of equipment. The square filter set from K&F concept was perfect for this type of work. The kit is lightweight and it makes it possible to use the one filter for several different sizes of lenses. During this wedding I was working with an 82mm lens and a 77mm lens as my primary glass. At the ceremony site, I had to quickly swap lenses and reapply the filter in order to get the shots the couple wanted. I found gaps in the ceremony where I could quietly and quickly change lenses and attach the filters without disturbing the event. It worked perfectly and even though some people might consider it cumbersome, I thought it was a lot easier than having to swap lenses and then screw filter into each lens.
When using these filters, I shot exclusively in RAW, but did not perceive any color cast from the filters. The mount is solid and the filter is well-protected by the soft lining in the case. It’s very easy to attach the mount to the lenses and in my opinion is actually easier to work with than individual filters.
I do feel like the lens adapter could fit a little more snuggly onto the camera lens, but I’m definitely not complaining about that and it is certainly not a dealbreaker. It’s just a tweak that could make the product even better than it already is.
One of the most appealing features of this product is its price. At £100, it’s much more budget-friendly than purchasing a single ND1000 filter. This is a great set-up for beginners and professionals alike.

Absolutely delighted! K&F did a lot of things right here! When I unpacked the adapter rings and the holder, I was already very satisfied. Metal case from 48 to 82 rings. But then the glass, it is packed in a leather case, very high quality! This is otherwise only known from very large brands and companies, which can also be paid well for expensive money, but the price is right here! Only the German translation in the instructions leaves something to be desired! Doesn't flow into my rating! I can overlook that! Dear K&F team, please keep it up! An absolutely overwhelmed customer that you won with me!

I am a passionate landscape photographer as a hobby and have now switched from the screw filters to this rectangular filter system from K&F. The screw-in filters were all fine, but you don't have the option of attaching a graduated filter to the ND filter in order to achieve even nicer effects.
It is mounted on the lens using so-called adapter rings, which are included in the most common sizes for lenses.
After attaching the adapter ring to the lens, the filter holder is attached. This is secured by a small lever (spring-loaded) and later released again with this.
Now you can slide the filter plates into the filter holder. This lifts a bit severely but it should also hold and must not wobble.
It is also important to observe that the filter used is close to the lens so that no more light can penetrate between the filter and the lens, which could possibly ruin the recordings.
In terms of quality, the system makes a good impression considering the price. The only thing I noticed negatively is that the filter holder has some play after it is placed on the adapter ring and why there is no adapter ring for a 55mm filter diameter in the set, I also ask. 55mm is a common diameter for lenses.
I can highly recommend the K&F system for amateur photographers. The professionals will probably use filter holder systems from other manufacturers, but they also cost a lot more.

The adapter rings allow us to place the filter holder on any lens as we have a large number of different diameters. They are made of black metal and are well made. Labeled on each ring with the appropriate diameter. The filter holder is metallic with the part where the filters go made of some kind of hard plastic. Two 100x100 filters and 100x150mm gradients fit easily. The system of attachment to the adapter ring is via a very manageable metal tab. In several tests that I carried out under different lighting conditions, I did not notice the entry of residual light through the space between the filter and the filter holder. The photos have a slight magenta tint which is very easy to correct when editing, but it's not exaggerated at all. I am very happy and enjoying it very much. I recommend it!

1. It is a well matched set of its filter performance and these combine very well with each other.
2. The set with the filter bag is awesome. Really takes up little space. Fits well in a trouser pocket. It's stable and looks reasonable. Unlike the plastic boxes.
3. The workmanship is very good. The thread is burr free, goes on and off the lens easily. The filter discs sit firmly in their metal frame. With my cheap one it rattled.
4. The optical quality is very good. I didn't notice any uneven filter performance or color distortions. Also in combination of the filters with each other.

The K&F filter comes well packaged, even with a storage case. It is well made and looks very good too. In the photo you can see the typical green shimmer that comes from the invisible black dots on the glass. Even a cleaning cloth was included, which I personally always find very nice because you can put it directly with the filter. The filter comes in the 58mm version, which fits exactly. It is easy to unscrew and works perfectly.
The Black Soft Filter is also often referred to as the Black Mist Filter. The filter from K&F Concept is quite good. But what is he actually doing? The filter is there to take out contrasts and scatter light around the points of light. While we see a candle flame sharply and clearly with a short exposure time in a classic image without this filter, one has a so-called halo around the candle when the filter is used. This gives the light a much nicer mood. However, it also reduces contrasts. You always have to keep that in mind when taking the picture. In principle, however, contrast can be easily added again later at the required points. With the 1/4 filter it is also well within limits and it is a balanced effect. Of course you can also create this afterwards, but it's the same as with many other filters. When used front-on, the effect tends to be a little nicer. But it is certainly also a matter of personal taste.
The filter does exactly what it is supposed to. And he does that very well. Unfortunately, I have no comparison to a high-priced filter. Based on my experience, I also think that the difference is only visible if you really take the photos yourself and pay attention to details. For the hobby area, it doesn't always have to be high-end equipment. That's why I give it a full 5-star buy recommendation.

I've been using the product for about half a year now (almost daily) and I'm very satisfied with it!
Pro: The installation is easy and holds very well and with the installation rings it can also be used universally for any lens!
The filter also keeps its promises and the quality is still excellent!
Contra: the glass is a bit difficult to slide in, if you want to push the filter in, you should remove the attachment to avoid damaging the thread!
Conclusion: I am very satisfied with the product, even if you have to be a bit careful!
I give this product 8/10

I bought the filter bag to have all the filters at hand more quickly and not to have to search for them, and to save space. The bag is of high quality and fits perfectly for 100x100mm filters. A total of three (theoretically four) different filters can be stowed in it. So it is perfect for a standard ND filter set (8,64,1000).
The inside of the bag is completely lined with microfiber so that the filters can be transported in it without additional protection. As a smart feature, it has a pull-out mechanism. This means that when you open the bag and pull the tab, all the filters are offset and highlighted so that you can grab them much better and read the label directly.
I bought another glass filter at the same time - ND64. Since I already own an ND8 from another brand and the ND1000 from K&F, this was of course still missing in the series. Overall, I am super satisfied with the quality of K&F. The filters (update 2020) have almost no color cast anymore. In certain light situations, my ND64 filter turns green. However, this can be corrected without major problems during image processing. The shape of the filter (no round filter) also means that there are no problems with vignetting or falling sharpness. The images are therefore almost unaffected in terms of image quality. The processing is top (no sharp edges, stains, etc.) and the price speaks for itself.
All in all, I'm very happy with the entire filter system from K&F and will probably get hold of the gradient filters soon!

Goods great, as usual from K&F Concept. Anyone who has worked with such a filter knows what quality they are holding in their hands. Filters are made of glass. I bought the rectangular filters, have a better grip and handling is easier. I gave up my attempts to work with (cheap) filter disks because they were not flat enough and contained inclusions.

I bought the gradient filter because it was recommended to me by friends.
After a few weeks of use I can say that I am more than satisfied with it.
When taking photos, it is necessary to darken the sky (e.g. at sunrise or sunset) in order not to get a burned-out sky or too dark a foreground.
This is where the filter shows its strengths. The filter can be positioned very easily in the appropriate holder without the risk of it slipping out. This gives you beautiful photos even with long exposures.
To expand, I will add more filters of this brand later.
I can make a clear purchase recommendation!
