Comparison with and without filter, no alteration of the image even in very high resolution.
I bought this filter to protect my lens, and I don't regret it. I did some careful testing comparing the image with and without the filter, there is absolutely no difference.
Mounted on a Tamron 150-500 and used for both distant subjects and macro.
