Excellent value for money for a good quality filter.
tested it out in my house and on the grounds of my building today and had some excellent results with it. It blocked out glare in puddles and on windows, improved contrast shots across a rain-soaked driveway, and produced an intense blue sky from a fairly washed out light blue sky with thin clouds. The filter construction is very high quality, the threading feels positive and is neither too stiff nor so loose that you'd fear it'll come off. The rotation of the polarized display is a little stiffer than I'd like. A couple of times I found that when I was past the ideal level and wanted to back off a little, the filter unscrewed. I don't like tightening filters too much, so I'm hoping it will loosen up a bit with use. It comes in a sturdy, if slightly bulky, plastic box that I replace with a more compact filter case when I'm out and about. Also included is a lens cap and lanyard. I don't remotely like the lens cap, the front edges of the push buttons on each side are sharply bevelled and they have no grip so if like me you have quite dry skin it's not easy to hold onto, in fact I dropped it twice within minutes of opening the pack so I found it quite funny when I saw the little video in the advert which was expected to just extol the virtues of the filter only to find out it was actually just about the cap and that the lanyard is there to stop you losing it. In over forty years of using SLRs and DSLRs I have never come across a lens cap that was less suitable for an active photographer on location. Lens cap aside this is a great filter, it does everything you'd expect from a product that's priced far higher than the £13.99 it currently costs and should last a couple of years if looked after. Perfect for beginners or experienced photographers and incredibly good value for money. What's not to like.
