It can be screwed in and out easily and cleanly. It is also possible to use a second filter. With 3 filters there are unfortunately edge shadows/vignettes in the wide angle 18 - 20mm on my Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 DC DN C. Otherwise there are no negative influences on the image due to the filter.
