When in use, the three legs can be extended steplessly so that - with the center column retracted - the tripod can be raised to a maximum height of just over one meter If you also use the maximum extension of the center column, you can reach a very good 1.70 meters. Together with the camera, I can then - at 1.85 meters tall - work comfortably and without bending down with the tripod. However, when fully extended, you still have to add a little weight, as the whole construct then becomes a bit wobbly. However, if you hang the camera bag on the tripod, this problem is solved. However, there is no quick-release plate or mount for it. As a small goodie, you can remove the center column and use it as a selfie stick (if you need it) or as a reasonably usable monopod. Conclusion: For the low price you can't complain here at all. The tripod is of high quality, can be extended, offers many features and is absolutely practical.
