Great Value on a Great Pair of Diffusion Filters

This pair of diffusion filters is the perfect kit for someone getting started or someone needing to add some options to their camera bag. Diffusion filters are very subjective and, much like seasoning to a recipe, depends on the person's particular tastes and preferences. As such, I really like that this comes with not only one diffusion filter, but a second one in a different power. This actually gives you three options, since the filters will also stack and combine, though with much greater softness in the image.I tried these out in three configurations and included some sample images and video to help others see how it may affect the image in different situations. I found these to be very pleasing effects, even on the extreme end with them stacked. And as a great bonus, there is almost no noticeable color cast in these, something not usually the case in the more "budget" level filters. These filters easily outperform their price point, particularly considering you get two of them. These especially did a great job when there are obvious light sources in the images, such as in the night-time example. The lights are encircled by a wonderful glow that adds a little something special to the image and brings down the harshness in a pleasing way without removing the details in the image.I really enjoyed using these filters and I can't wait to keep trying them out in different situations to see how they do. I recommend keeping them in the camera bag and trying them out in all your shoots, just to see what may happen.Since these filters only really fit in their case when they are stacked together, make sure you don't tighten them down too much. This goes for mounting to the camera too, or they will get stuck. However, this applies to every filter brand and isn't specific to this one. I only mention it because they need to be combined to fit into the case. Of course you can always use a different case if you don't like this aspect. As a side note, K&F has continued to impress me with their products. I own several at this point and haven't been disappointed by any of them. And at their usual price points, even if it's something you don't use all the time, it's worth adding it to the collection for either trying something new, or something to spark some creativity when you're feeling a bit bored.
