This tool is a must have not just for a mechanic. An HVAC service tech. A sewer repair tech but anyone who has to do inspections or look for problems in almost impossible places. I am a retired Diesel technician and Diesel and Automotive instructor at one of our local community colleges. In my profession they had small scopes with short cables and to some extent those were good but what if you needed just a foot more to let you be able to see what your problem was? And with this tool you can also switch over to look at the side ( say you were looking in a cylinder or the inside of an exhaust pipe ). I also used this to look in my home sewer to locate a blockage 11 feet away from where I started. And since I could see what the blockage was, years of soap and grease build up, I was able to unplug it with one of the attachments that comes with the kit. This tool is a must have for just about everyone. Looking in a roof gutter to see a blockage. Looking under the refrigerator to look for something you dropped. It literally has thousands of uses.
