This filter creates a very subtle cinematic look and blurs still images and moving videos at the same time. A difference can be seen in the shooting of individuals, albeit not a significant one. It makes the skin a little more supple and silky and the backgrounds are not like that anymorerazor sharp as before, especially on my Sony A7IV. I bought the 82mm size with step down rings to use with all my lenses. Overall, it's a good idea to have this filter in your camera bag, but it comes in handy when you're taking portrait photos or want to add a softer touch to your videos.
