Does the job well, fits snugly but not too tight. Perfect for my Contax Zeiss 50mm F1.7
Read the reviews for the previous iteration and they were mixed. I took a hit because I knew I could return it, but I won't. Haven't used it yet when the sun is close to the field of view, so can't say if the matte interior reduces flare. Feels well made and at this price I can buy one for every lens I need.
