You don't need an app here...
...because due to the sufficiently large monitor (4.6 inches), you don't need a smartphone or an app to display what you discovered during the inspection. Some might find this cumbersome, but I don't. You thus have an autonomous system, which does not additionally load the battery of the smartphone. Of course, it is still recorded, in this case the supplied 32 GB (TF) memory card can be used, whose data can be transferred to a PC/notebook for permanent archiving if required.

Incidentally, I already know the principle of a digital endoscope from other models, which can also record up to max. Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels). Those also offer protection class 67, ie the device is dustproof and keeps water out for a certain, short period of time.

A major difference, however, is the fact that the K&F Concept endoscope camera has an integrated 4.3-inch IPS LCD screen with full view. It is therefore not necessary to connect a PC or notebook to the endoscope in order to view images/videos. This noticeably increases mobility, as I have now noticed several times. A notebook as a monitor is a nuisance here, especially in tight surroundings (e.g. bathroom) because it can fall down in the worst case. Nothing gets involuntarily damp/wet either, which by the way would also apply to handling with a smartphone.

It almost goes without saying that pictures (JPG) or videos can also be recorded on the memory card with up to Full HD resolution (1,080P).

Who serious investigations z. B. in the sewage system, may require a specialist (possibly also with a spiral). But in order to be able to examine the engine compartment, water pipes, narrow niches, etc., you can acquire a useful observation option with this camera system. The sufficiently long cable (5 m) is (semi-)rigid, so it won't bend or get tangled when faced with some resistance. You can bend it a bit beforehand, but it may not be so easy to get around corners. Here you should gain some experience and tinker a little.

Incidentally, this endoscope is not advertised for medical purposes, which I was seriously surprised to find out from another manufacturer... Anyone who is already familiar with a "gastroscopy" can probably do without someone else's tube in the mouth etc.... An internist stops here If required, the correct necessary medical device is available.

And the quality? Depending on the environment, it is sufficiently detailed to well detailed, like a kind of mobile macro camera that can be moved in the desired direction (also in color) and of course also documents what you see by means of recordings. Alternatively, only good quality photos can be taken. If problems arise with the bright LEDs, the brightness can of course be varied. With the useful accessories, a hook or magnet can be attached. This is mostly still fiddly, but you can pick up and move objects, or even better recognize them. Other manufacturers also offer such accessories, which have proven to be useful in practice.

Incidentally, the monitor is sharp enough to discover problem areas and things there. At 4.3 inches, the display size is quite decent even by today's standards. You can therefore move sufficiently to well in dark zones etc. and take photos and videos if necessary. Of course, these recordings can later be viewed and evaluated even better on the notebook etc.

The few buttons allow good and precise operation of the endoscope, with a little practice you will quickly get used to it. Since, as already mentioned, a 32 GB card was included, you can actually get started right away. You often have to buy memory cards separately, although they are relatively cheap. Incidentally, there is also an easy-to-understand operating manual that enables proper operation of the device.

A solid 3,000mAh battery ensures hours of operation. In case of doubt, the battery is recharged via USB cable after each use and thus guarantees that it is always ready for use, although a power bank can of course also be used here if necessary.

By the way, the main device with the display cuts a good figure optically. Because the workmanship of this product is also flawless, there are currently four stars with certain typical limitations in the flexibility of the long cable, especially since there is no long-term experience yet. With another model I had z. B. Problems with the battery (didn't work after a few months).
A guarantee of two years is otherwise not a matter of course and can also score points, regardless of how it looks in practice.
