Really good for its price.
Excellent value for money for an APS-c. I have shot a lot with my D7200 and it has never disappointed me. The AF is very responsive for both street and landscape and good portrait rendering too. Depth is good and no distortion of the image. It's not pumping as long as we keep the minimum distance. Good point that the AF is disabled, allowing manual management when needed. The aperture in 1.8 is very good and it's very bright. Bokeh is soft and creamy. So happy with this lens I took the same one in 50mm. I am very happy about this and for those who want to learn about photography with a 35 and/or a 50mm it is ideal. You have nothing to envy the other 2 see 3 times more expensive.
