a great tripod
I wanted a more compact tripod to replace a cheap chip tripod that I have used for many years, as I wanted to do more landscape shots, this would be much easier to carry around. Based on the reviews this sounded perfect. It arrived very well packaged with a nice little bag that covers the head to protect it, the bag also has the option of a shoulder strap and I liked that one of the legs has a foam lining to protect my hands a little warmer when using it in winter. The Reise is very compact, lightweight and very robust in windy conditions. It says it's a quick release, which to me means pushing a little lever and it's released, this you have to screw the plate in to tighten, ok, just a few seconds, but if your hands are freezing, that's screwing and unscrewing something not even It's always easy pending!
