There are cheaper and more expensive monoculars. Since I only want to use the monocular every now and then, I didn't want to spend too much money. So I first ordered one with comparable features to this one, but about 20 euros cheaper - and immediately sent it back because of the extremely toxic smelling plastic housing. Then I looked around again and came across this monocular from K&F, which at around A$73 was significantly more expensive than the first one, but still cheap compared to other devices. And this time I was not disappointed. Not only does the materiel not emit any odor - it also looks much higher quality overall. Image & magnification are completely fine for me. And the mobile phone holder is also really practical:
I removed the wrist strap again because the monocular doesn't fit properly in the bag that came with it. That's a shame, just a few millimeters more air would have been enough.
It is just as unfortunate that the cover of the outer part, in the lower part of the lens, is not connected to the housing and therefore always has to be stowed away in some jacket or trouser pocket when in use.
Conclusion: The price/performance ratio fits, purchase recommendation!
