Does exactly what it's supposed to, and does it well
I bought the K&F ND2-ND32 for a small film project.
The filter comes in a practical box that protects it during transport.
The strength can easily be adjusted steplessly. Unfortunately I don't have the reference to other variable ND filters here.
As advertised in the product description, I could not see an X on any level of this filter.
I took a few photos with a variety of backgrounds and subjects before properly using the filter. My copy does not show an X even with long exposures.
After the film project is completed, the filter remains in my photo backpack.
In most cases, I prefer the variable filter to a bulky plug-in filter system.
The image quality is 5 stars because I don't notice any loss of quality even with my best lenses.
I give 5 stars for value for money because I got exactly what I expected.
I didn't rate the packaging design (I can't remember the packaging).
Nevertheless, there is a point deduction in the overall rating because there is a small imperfection on the front glass of the filter. However, I could not see this imperfection even with the aperture closed on a wide-angle lens.
