Good basic protection - but the blue coating is more of a nuisance than a benefit
UV filters in the digital age only make sense to a limited extent. I mainly use this type of filter as protective glass for the lens, so that I don't have to worry about damaging the lens even on the beach or during somewhat hectic photo shoots. The protective function is very good with this filter well achieved.The workmanship is good, the glass is clear and without inclusions.The edge of the filter is thin enough so that there is no vignetting.The blue coating is a bit annoying.If the sun hits the filter unfavorably from the side, it will creates a blue shimmer in the photos. Of course, that shouldn't be the case. However, this phenomenon only occurs at very specific angles to the sun. But the price-performance ratio is good, so ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
