Good for casual use
I was looking for a handy tripod that I can also use when traveling or on city trips. So I ordered the K&F Concept TM2515T tripod with a smaller pack size.
It arrives well packaged in a dedicated tripod bag. This can also be used to transport the tripod when traveling etc. The ball head is additionally wrapped to protect it from scratches.
The pack size of the tripod is perfect for my application. It easily fits on my backpack tripod mount. I hardly feel any difference from before. Of course, I probably wouldn't want to climb a peak with a tripod because it's not the lightest. But that's not why I bought it. In my opinion, the tripod also needs the existing weight to be able to stand stably. With the even lighter specimens, I have concerns that they could tip over in stronger gusts of wind. A nice gimmick of the tripod is the holder for additional weight on the center column. An additional weight, such as a backpack, can be attached to it. You can also turn the tripod into a monopod. I haven't used this function yet can be very interesting when traveling. With the function that you can fold the center column horizontally, you get even more options to get the best shot.
In terms of quality, the tripod is of course not comparable to a tripod in the higher price segment and a professional photographer will certainly not want to use it either. However, with the tripod, K&F is addressing both photographers and amateur filmmakers who want to venture into the subject.
For the price, the tripod is really recommendable. If you are looking for a compact tripod for travel or in general, I think the tripod is a good choice.
