Simple plug and play.
I used it with my samsung flip 4, just plugged it in and it appeared as an external microphone, stereo recording in recording apps.
I also asked someone with an iphone to test the lightning receiver (the kit comes with 2 receivers, lighting and usb-c), and it worked instantly for them as well.
Unfortunately, you can only use one receiver at a time -- we tried both phones with receivers and only one was connected.
The mics themselves were smaller than I expected, which is really nice for interviews where you don't want the mics to be seen, but also don't have the budget or the space to have a boom mic. The magnets are pretty good, and the sound quality is good as well.

Great value for 2 mics+ receiver with long battery life at this price point. I am entry level with video creation and trying to run ads for my business—I really liked how easy it was to setup, configure and provides clear audio quality. The magnets are very strong too. I found that mounting the mic inside my shirt (+ wind screen) with the square magnet piece on the outside provided a great sound and keeps the mic very low profile—can barely tell it’s there.

I didn’t like that you can’t connect a wireless microphone but everything else is fine

I was looking for an affordable wireless microphone system and decided to give the Sarmonic model a try based on its price. To my surprise, I found it to be well-built and packed with useful accessories. I use a Samsung phone that requires a USB-C connection, which this model obviously has.

Right away, I was impressed by the strong transceiver magnet and clip—much more secure than other brands I've tried, so I don't have to worry about the mic falling off. The carrying case is also a smart feature, doubling as a charger for the transceivers and receiver, which means no need for separate charging.

Pairing was a breeze after watching Sarmonic’s quick start video online. The sound quality is comparable to higher-end brands, and honestly, unless you’re a sound engineer, you probably won’t notice much of a difference. Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase and excited to start using it!

This is a pretty cool little doohickey. I’m sure it has lots of practical applications for mechanics and repair people. As for me, I can use it to look behind and under appliances, furniture, inside vents, etc. Not the most straightforward instructions, but here’s all you have to do: 1) Put the inskam app on your phone. 2) Set your WiFi to use the “inskam” network. 3) Plug the endoscope into the wireless transmitter. 4) Hold down the power button on the wireless transmitter for 3 seconds, until it lights up. 5) Use the switch on the endoscope cable to adjust the brightness of the camera light. 6) Open the app on your phone and start viewing! You can even take pics or video. There’s definitely a learning curve in terms of how close you should get to the items you’re viewing, and in how to manipulate the cable, but with some practice, you’ll catch on. Pretty cool!

This is a solid microphone for the price,, I am very impressed. I filmed a take outside on a very windy day and did not hear any feedback on the recording. It is also very discreet and it couldn't be seen in my video, but also didn't pick up any noise from my hair, which is a problem for other sensitive microphones. It was easy to pair the microphone and the receiver, and the receiver worked great with my IPhone. 10/10 would recommend!

Transmitter unit uv index quit working. Tech Support was very helpful. and timely. i would email a question and by the next morning i had a response. they continued to work with me until it was determined that the uv part of the transmitter was not working. they mailed out a replacement and i received it within a week. the new transmitter fixed the problem. it was nice to find a company that polite and responsive.
