So, this thing is like having three cameras all at once. You've got one for the front and one for the passenger side. Although, if you want to see the driver, you'll have to tweak the camera's placement to catch them in the frame. The inside camera doesn't swivel, and it only really captures one person at a time, or the back seats if you plonk it right in the middle. So, it's handy for someone driving for Uber.

The rear camera does its job too. You can even hook it up to the backup feature, so when you shift into reverse, bam, there's your rear view on the screen. I haven't tested that out myself though; I just use it to keep an eye on what's happening behind me, not for backing up. You can easily switch between the different camera views or even have two on the screen at once (like picture in picture).

Overall, it's a pretty solid system. But I'm knocking off a star because the field of view isn't quite 170 degrees. I can't see the whole front hood, and that angle's less than 170. Plus, the interior camera can only really capture whatever angle the front one's been set to. So, if you stick it off to the right of the windshield's center, it's going to capture the passenger. Dead center, and it's the back seats. If you want to record the driver, you'll have to stick it on the driver's side of the windshield, but obviously, that's not ideal since it blocks the driver's view.

You get the ability to record and view the front view, in car view and rear view. I found it easier to install than I expected, I hid almost all the wires under trim, I do plan to get the hard wire kit so I can record even when my car is parked up, added security for not just the car but my property too. The front camera has a really wide view, it captures not just the road directly ahead but junctions to each side as well as pavements etc. The in-car capture is great too, really clear. I love the rear camera; it doesn’t just capture what is happening behind you it also really helps with reverse parking too. The quality of video is superb during the day, number plates are clear, even at a distance and you can see every pothole too, night vision is good in town but not brilliant on dark rural roads. The gravity show sensor is a great addition, if you are in an accident the sensor detects the impact and locks the video that recorded it meaning it will not be over written. There are onboard buttons, but it is easier to use the app which can be used on both Android and Apple phones. You can download video from the camera to edit, great for showing friends online the area we live in and also important to have as proof of fault in accidents.

I was looking for an inexpensive, no hassle dashcam for my camping van and this fit the bill perfectly. Super easy to install, just plugged it in and it was working. Construction quality is on par for the price point. I am not using the rear camera so I can't comment on that. Picture and audio quality are acceptable for my needs. User manual is a bit lacking but I didn't really need it. The only thing I don't like about it is that the driver facing camera only sees half my head when the camera is mounted on the left side of the rear view mirror. It doesn't see me at all when mounted (per manual recommendation) on the right side of the rear view mirror. I guess it's ok if you want to record your rear seat passengers but for me it would be better if it saw all of me so I could easily prove I wasn't on my phone during an incident. But overall, for the price, good dashcam that does what I need it to do.

It's a very good system. I'm removing a star because the angle of view can't be 170, since I can't get it to see the entire front of the hood, and that angle is less than 170. Also, the interior camera can only realistically capture whatever angle the front has been positioned. So if you installed it to the right of the center of the windshield, then it's going to be the passenger. In the center it would be the rear seats, and to record the driver, you would need to put the camera on the driver's side of the windshield, which obviously isn't good since it obstructs the drivers sight.

We have a courier route on Sundays that takes about 10 hours and 300 miles. FINALLY got a dash cam as protection against "he said vs he said". Wanted front and rear, but didn't want to spend that much, so we bought 2 one direction dash cams. The picture is very clear, and the sound is as well (we haven't tested how well it picks up sounds from outside the car). It has a continuously updated: date/time stamp, speed, and gps coordinates. If you exceed SD card capacity, it will just loop, recording over the oldest recordings. (We bought 256GB cards, and one day (~9hrs of driving) doesn't even come close to filling it.) If you crash, or get hit while parked, it will record 5 battery minutes of video (longer if the car is still running) and protect it in a separate file so that it will not be recorded over. Must be plugged in to operate. (comes with both a 3ft and 8ft USB cords). Shuts off and starts up with the engine. Theoretically connects to the phone app via wifi, but I found this difficult to accomplish. Consequently, a bit of trial and error to get the rear camera pointing where it needed to be. But I absolutely recommend this camera to anyone wanting a relatively inexpensive dash cam. It works great, and is a great value.

I had repeatedly dealt with the topic of dashcams. Even when it was not yet allowed here in Germany to install a dashcam in the car and take recordings.

I looked at several dashcams and read relevant tests on the internet. After the field of possible models became smaller and smaller, three dash cams have emerged. In the end I decided on the dashcam. Although it is significantly more expensive than other dash cams, it also offers more options and functions that other dash cams do not offer. Advantages:

- Video recordings of what is happening in front of the vehicle and from inside the vehicle or, depending on the car model and the occupancy of the rear seats, also of what is happening behind the car - Cameras can
record simultaneously in dual mode
- The front camera can also be used alone if there are no recordings from the driver's cab are desired
- good recordings at night (good light sensitivity of the front camera and infrared light support of the rear camera)
- loop recordings: Individual clips are recorded and overwritten if no accident occurs or a recording is blocked manually
- optional GPS -Receiver can be used as an accessory

Disadvantages:

- No micro SD memory card included, must be purchased separately
- not every Micro SD memory card is supported (recommendation: Sandisk Micro SD 128 GB)
- When the sun is low, the recordings from the rear camera, which show what is happening behind the car, are sometimes overexposed
- comparatively high price

I can recommend this dash cam I'm very happy with this. I got the charging cable routed well in my car (Kia Ceed).

Fantastic dash cam. So much better than my last one recently stolen. Only problem I had was having to remove my old rear view camera and add the one that came as it didn't work with it. But. Even with that hassle, the rear view one supplied is so much better so once I had it set up, I was glad I couldn't be lazy and keep yhe old camera.
Picture quality is outstanding. View in poor lighting is no problem. Rear view is so clear. Wider than normal rear view and didn't give the false... I am too close moment. This seems set so much better making parking easier.
Value for money.... it was on sale, for a fair price and they had some offer on that I got even more money off. Saved about £35 on the asking price. Can't say fairer than that.
Getting the hang of using it wasn't easy to change dates etc.... but that's because o didn't bother to read any instruction. Even then, didn't take long and now much more easier than the last dash cam. Too. You can't take still shots and see them, WiFi option to send it your phone... not tried yet. And a free memory card....
Overall if you want a good affordable dash cam that does what it says and more... then this is the one for you

Easy enough to install, but you have to remember that you need to give yourself time to be able to hide the rear view camera wire in the vehicles trim shrouds, being mindful of some vehicles air bags
