Previous Acurite product required a separate device cabled into the wifi router to allow phone app access to weather station information. Multiple mounting options and excellent feature. Easy to understand installation instructions and connection to home wifi network. They also offer a free additional year extended warranty.

This is a very nice, easy to read weather station. I had difficulty getting it to connect to the internet and show in the app. I sent a note to tech support and they sent me a couple of links. It took me quite a bit to get it linked, probably user error. They did follow up with me to make sure it was working as it should. I appreciated everything that tech support did to assist me. I ended up deleting the device and starting over, which is what finally worked for me. I would suggest to the makers that they create an easier way to link it instead of going through 3 different apps. Overall, I really like the weather station and find it to be very accurate!

If you're looking for a easy to read but comprehensive weather station, this is it. It was easy to setup and installation was a breeze. The WIFI setup and WUnderground was simple and now my station is a part of the WUnderground network. Highly recommended.

This weather station was easy to set up and install. I’m somewhat handy but not an expert by any means. I stumbled with connecting to my WiFi when I tried to use the iPhone app to connect. When I switched to my Lenovo laptop it was very easy to connect to my WiFi.

I like the display. It is easy to see from across the room without being too intrusive. .

Really cool weather station that tracks more weather parameters than most other stations. I am having difficulty linking the station to the internet, however will continue trying. Otherwise, very satisfied with the product.

Love the Sainlogic weather station and its clear and large screen. Hooking up to the WIFI like many have said is not easy but once it is done you are good to go. Really like the self-emptying rain gauge. Time will tell how well it does and how accurate it is but seems to be well worth the money.

The weather station was very simple to mount and connect to wifi. The screen displays all of the information and it is easy to read. I didn’t understand how to connect my station to the app but when I emailed customer service they sent detailed information to connect to the app. The station works great!

No problems getting the display and remote sensor unit connected.
As other reviews have noted it is a bit tricky to connect to wifi and get connected to a internet weather reporting network. This is not necessarily a problem with the unit.

Do the following.

Connect whatever device you are using to configure the display unit to the 2.4 ghz wifi of your home wifi router. Be sure that your device has "auto reconnect " turned on for the 2.4ghz connection.

Open the app and follow the prompts . Select the 2.4ghz wifi SID ,and then enter the password for that network. Note your password is case sensitive- be certain that whatever keyboard you are using does not improperly capitalize the first letter of your pw. The app doesn't have a show pw function, so entering your password correctly is essential.
If all goes well you will see a notification in red letters saying "connected to dns server".

Now you can create an account with weather underground and register your station. Just select "other" for station brand - all home weather stations use the same data communication protocol. The rest of the registration process is relatively simple.

Also it can take up to 24 hours to fully enable your station on weatherunderground.
This is a function of how the WU servers work.
