Exellent filter for the purpose of night sky, wide field Astrophotography. Very adept at cancelling light pollution and has a high quality feel. I can not comment on the coatings, but I had no problems with light refraction or ghosting, and the filter cleans easily. I would say an upgrade from filters like the ICE filters, and the added expense to go to those brands does not justify the cost increase.

The field of view is fantastic at 32°, way better than my old goggles with just a 10° view. The image is clear, and even though it takes a little getting used to when you're walking around, the wide view is definitely impressive.

This works exactly as described. It is easy to control, accurate and locks onto the target quickly. The field of view is clear and easy to focus and adjust. The tilt feature is nice. It features tilt compensation and an angle indicator, essential for long climbs and descents. This thing is smaller and lighter than I ever expected. Different from the market products. Discreet quality. Good given the price. Not very wide field of view and brightness that decreases as the zoom increases. But that's physics and not even Swarovski, Leica or Zeiss could do anything about it. However, it is light and compact to put in the backpack.
