I was really surprised at how easy it was to use, my 5 year old son absolutely loves it and wanted to put everything under the lens. You can see how clear the quality of the picture is, even with this much zoom, he's having so much fun looking at everything so close, from toys, some groceries, coins, and everything else. The center dial is the main focus point and it can focus no matter how close the subject is, the LCD screen is of amazing quality and a great size for everyone to see. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to teach kids new skills and adults can benefit too.

I have an old Fischer-Price magnifier from when I was a kid that somehow keeps ending up in my lab and being surprisingly useful. But, since the optics are plastic, it's always been a bit hazy despite being upgraded with an LED ring light, etc.

So when this popped up on my feed, I figured I'd try it out. It's surprisingly nice for what it is. Where my old pocket scope only has a focus; this one has both a zoom and focus. My other scope has a far wider field of view, so being able to get in and close with this is nice.

It includes some test slides, which seem to be represented fairly well in the marketing pictures (see the "Ant Amplification" for example as well as the other reviewers' pictures). I was using it to look at circuit boards and other than the housing getting in the way at times, it worked nicely. I'll probably drag it out on walks with me to look at things since it's a lot more clear than my old pocket scope.

I do wish it had more than just one light on it. But I bet I can find a tiny ring light and modify it. :D

Now that I've used it once for my work, I can comment on it in my opinion. I use it for photos of interiors, cider houses, restaurants... also for close-ups of people where I need it to appear quite deep (a chef with a plate for example). The first couple of times I used it with a tripod so manual focus isn't a problem, use the Liveview to focus (everything looks so sharp no matter what parameters you use, it's hard to tell the specific focus point), i close the aperture at 7.1 or 11 and that's it, everything in the picture is perfect. For handheld photos it's easy to get the point by using an approximate hyperfocal and just closing in at f/5.6, a few extra shots just in case and no problem. It's not as comfortable as my 17-40L, with its ultrasonic focus of course, but at this price point let's see what other ultra angle you have...none. The brutal sharpness really surprised me. Very good picture quality for what it costs, impressive. The colors are very good, like any other good lens. Chromatic aberrations... What is it? I haven't seen any of them yet. The geometric distortion is very moderate for the angle as long as you take the photo from the right angle. For my work, many cider houses, not being able to put a good UV filter in front of it bugs me (there can always be accidents with people and drinks), but hey, extreme caution is required. It's slightly lighter than the 17-40 mentioned above, has a relatively small size and is very portable. The focus ring is very good, too long for close objects, and it rotates well and tightly, it doesn't move by itself. The aperture ring is the same. Since I'm used to using old manual lenses (with my analog cameras), it's not that awkward to use either. It doesn't have the plastic feel that other lenses give, it's well built without being a black leg, but it doesn't feel like you've just bought a toy. Due to the case's shape, which serves its function well and is easy to put on and take off, the built-in sunshade will soon be covered in scratches, but hey, that's nothing. Of course, I hesitated for a long time before deciding to buy it (it was the historically low price that made me do it), but I don't regret it in the least. For its characteristics, not for constant use or to "tie it to the camera without removing it" but for whatever use I give it and at this price... I can hardly ask for more. Nice birthday self gift :)

*For the cost* (very important) this lens does everything you need a cheap, fast 35 f/2 to do. The build quality and feel are surprisingly good. The focus ring is satisfyingly tactile — smooth and large enough for my fingers to have an easy, snug grip, unlike my Nikkor D lenses. It's not the widest aperture for a 35, but for less than $100 you get functionality and value. We use this lens to film vlogs indoors with cheap studio lighting and it works well enough for our needs. It's soft all the way to the edges at F2 and difficult to focus with. The AF is quite slow but seems accurate enough. I plan to try this lens for astrophotography but don't have high hopes due to the lack of sharpness at F2, but I'll keep an open mind until I test it. However, when attenuated to f/2.8, clarity and sharpness improve significantly. We shoot our indoor vlogs at f3.2 for that extra depth of field, but would have no problem dropping down to 2.8 if needed, and the improved sharpness is nice at 3.2. I've attached two files — a full-size image of a section of tree, unprocessed at f/2 (1/4000th of a second to eliminate motion blur) and a cropped version of that file to show the poor sharpness right in the center of the frame. The lens is a nice size. Slightly larger than my Nikkor 50mm but smaller than my Rokinon 85mm. It works well with my Nikon D500 and when the focus is where you need it the images look good. It also focuses close enough for close-up macro photography, so that's nice. That sucks compared to other more expensive 35s out there, but these lenses cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars more. So I give it a 4/5. It's a great lens for getting the feel of a 35mm lens, but I wouldn't recommend it at all for professional use. + Good workmanship Inexpensive close-up focus - Slow autofocus, not sharp at f/2

Hello everyone, I bought the K&F Concept 14mm some time ago and can basically only report positive things. I don't see the fact that the lens has to be operated manually as a disadvantage, as I mostly take landscape and architectural photos. I always set the focus to near infinity and the aperture between 10 and 16. This always gives me great depth of field. Since I always shoot with automatic shutter, my camera (Canon 6D) sets the exposure time automatically. As I said, for landscape and architectural photography, this lens is very easy to use. If you want to photograph things up close with a low f-number (eg f/4), you will probably have to accept a few test shots before hitting the right focus point. The image quality of the lens is absolutely amazing. I already had various zoom wide-angle lenses from Sigma and Tokina, but their image quality did not even come close to the K&F Concept 14mm fixed focal length. Disadvantage: The lens distorts quite strongly at the edges and must be corrected with suitable programs. Furthermore, I would now like to use ND filters with my lenses and unfortunately cannot mount a Cokin filter holder on the K&F Concept because the lens hood is fixed. I'll have to do some tinkering then. For me, this lens is an absolute purchase recommendation! Top price with an outstanding picture quality!

wasn't sure if it would work with older lenses that have an aperture ring. It does. They can be operated simultaneously with an adapter and lens rings in a mode similar to aperture priority. Pre-select the aperture you want with the lens ring, set the focus manually and then close the aperture with Or alternatively, set the minimum aperture on the lens and just use the adapter ring to open and close. I have only one problem with only one lens and that is a Samyang 8mm fisheye lens. It doesn't want to focus close with this lens. The fisheye lens seems too close to the sensor with this adapter. For this reason I am buying another adapter with a built in helicoid to use with my fisheye lens.

I needed a light to go with my webcam and chose this as I liked the flexibility of having a tripod as well as a separate clamp to fix on top of the monitor. The lamp has natural and other light types which allows you to choose whatever works best with your skin colour. You can also dim the loght as required with the built in on/ff and dimmer switch built into the lead.

Super easy to install and use.
