This is a well built UV filter. I did this to attach a non-weather sealed lens with an internal zoom mechanism. A UV filter on the front provides additional protection from rain for an upcoming trip. The anodization on the metal ring appears to be of good quality. This and the knurling on the outer ring provide a very good grip when installing and removing. The threading matches the thread on the lens well. The filter glass is crystal clear. I found no noticeable degradation between shots taken with and without the filter mounted. For the same shot and under the same lighting, my camera did not adjust the exposure values between turning the UV filter on or off. This is a good UV filter for those of us who like a little extra protection for our lenses.

I really like this lens, I ordered a 77mm, fits good, my problem is it came unsealed, & very handled, im very disappointed in the case. For the price of the lens to arrived in a generic type, fits all case, is a not good. I can come up with a different case for it, it still bugs me. I'm debating on a exchange, the lens seems ok.!!!! Just, I ordered a new lens, not a OPEN BOX... I like sealed case's, Not Open beat up ones that come in a hand sealed
green clear generic bag so nothing falls out... The only thing missing is a big orange sticker saying USED...
Other then that it's a very nice clear lens, I just have some thinking to do... I worry that it may become defective after a bit, you just never know.
I have other very nice lens's from these guys, they didn't come this way...!!!!
I hope this isn't the New thing with they're lens's...

This is an excellent camera bag. It's sturdy and I feel that it would hold up in the weather. The inside is spacious with plenty of room for accessories.

Like the way that the camera is sealed. We have several Browning cameras and they end up getting condensation inside on the lenses. These look like they have solved this problem by having the battery compartment inside of the o ring seal. Like the way that the camera mount will pivot down to help with setting up the camera. So far the only downside is when you have the door open the camera swings out so you can't get a real time view of the area. We have set this up on a salmon stream by our cabin to video the bears fishing so we won't have real use feed back for a couple more months when check the camera. We are in the rain forest of south east Alaska, so will give a real world update in a couple months.

I used this 52mm filter on my old classic Canon EF 50mm 2.5 Compact Macro lens to capture the artificial candle image. I used a standard priority flash with an exposure of 1/30 second at f/16, ISO 1600. The filter was packaged in a sealed plastic bag in a reusable plastic sleeve for storage. Because Black Diffusion is used, dialing up or down the Black or even Clarity setting when opening a raw file in Photoshop can result in dramatic variability in the diffusion effect. The 18 multi-layer coatings can help reduce glare from flashing lights on shiny surfaces like glass or shiny metal. The filter creates a soft diffused effect on the subject, which is also caused by the light source used. This is a nice filter if you want to reduce diffusion, softness, or glare in photos or videos. This weather station does exactly what we need it to do.

I got this bag because I travel a lot and take my camera with me everywhere. It is comfortable and has plenty of space, we have experienced several weather conditions and it has held up very well. (Snow and rain) The only thing I don't really like are the hooks you have to use to open the bag. It's inconvenient. If they released a version of this bag that yes has hooks and has clips that would be my 5 star review.
