This little camera is a great value for the buck. I now own several that are being utilized as trail cameras and security on a small farm. I can depend on these cameras to perform well in all climates. Had several of them for a few years and they have out lasted my Mountie and several other “big” name cameras.

not with this security camera - you can choose between the cloud or install your own micro sd card for video files that are saved as 5-minute clips in mp4, timestamped and dated so you can easily transfer to your mac/pc and browse footage in real time instead of streaming it (this can be cumbersome on a poor internet connection). I have 6 security cameras from this brand that use the same app, so I can easily swipe between all the cameras in different locations. I had an issue with a contractor that rebuilt my shower. I told them that the shower was leaking but there was no proof. I ended up buying this thermal imagery camera to show the contractor where the water was accumulating in my soffit. I was able to snap pictures and send to the contractor. Once I sent the photos and mentioned lawyers, they quickly fixed the shower.

I will be keeping this tool to do periodic inspections around my house to catch any issues before they become a serious problem. This is a relatively inexpensive tool that could have saved me a claim on my insurance and/or $17k

This tripod is exactly what I wanted - super light / bullet proof strong / compact / sleek design = 5 STAR ... I will likely buy a couple more of these.

This is the best camera to use outside that I have found for a low price . It has a very solid metal case and weather proof so heavy rains or snows will not be a problem. The video quality is excellent . The infrared LED's light up a lot more area at night than I would have ever imagined. Since I am powering this remotely with a solar setup I like the fact that I can turn the LED's off using a setting in the app to conserve energy during low light times in winter. I was truly surprised by the quality of this camera - there are lots of other brands for indoors that are pretty good but nothing compares to this truly outdoor weather proof camera at this price. And yes it is easy to adjust and install .
