This is a good digital recorder. It is very sensitive. It picked up the quietest of whispers. I’m a paranormal investigator so digital recorders are a must the battery life is solid. It doesn’t take long to recharge it and a large storage space I really like this one

I ordered both the Plaud and Kentfaith voice recorders to figure out which works better for me. Ultimately, I preferred the slim size and beautiful design of the Plaud recorder, while the features of the Kentfaith recorder were more attractive.

Plaud is as slim as a piece of paper and so sleek it doesn’t have space for a USB-C charging port. In contrast, the Kentfaith is thicker due to its 3000mAh battery and charges with a USB-C cable, which I prefer. Both support recording, dictation, and summary, but the Kentfaith stands out with 2-way translation on the fly and the ability to recharge my phone. Plus, it has a small display to show the status, which is a great bonus.

The Kentfaith app is more straightforward, while Plaud’s app is more aesthetic. I like that the Plaud app allows you to copy or share the summary, outline, etc., while the Kentfaith app only supports copying the transcription, though they are working on improving it.

Both Plaud and Kentfaith charge for transcription services. However, Kentfaith is cheaper, offering 3 months of free subscription with 600 minutes, compared to Plaud's 2 months with the same 600 minutes. Kentfaith also promised all AI functions will be free in 3 months.

After considering everything, I decided to keep the Kentfaith recorder.

A great pick in tons of voice recorders. Has voice activation mode which helps in recording only what is needed rather then everything and choking memory. I like that it can be connected to phones, I can view every files and wind forward or backward.

I bought the recorder for traveling because it is quite small compared to other recorders. Delivery was fast and good. The recorder seems quite heavy and valuable, the operation is intuitive. The recording quality is impeccable. I'm only taking one star off for noise reduction, as noise reduction occasionally introduces background noise. Anyway good product

10 watt works to get a charge and that's in the winter sun. The water resistant coating on this is great. I'll be putting it away when it's raining or snowing but when random water hits it, I'm confident it will be alright. I figure the only real weak point as far as water resistance would be the inside of usb port. By the way I really could not tell which type of usb this female port was from the pictures, details and reviews. Seems to be different among the models as well. For the 10 watt I got its a USB type A which is like the large usb you might plug into a charger block or into a computer. I'm using a regular charger cable, USB-A to USB-C and that's going into a regular slim 10,000 backup battery. Will be an excellent way to get a little extra charge while bike touring. Glad I bought this.
