I checked on the K&F Concept Canada website and the price on the list (currently $36.99) is the same, although their website says a special price of $46.06. I always put a UV filter on the front of my lens to protect it in case it gets dropped. K&F Concept is a good name when it comes to filters, so I expect it will be decent glass as well. I'm impressed that it came with a lens cap as I lost mine. The plastic case with the wrist strap is great for keeping the filter safe when not in use.

The K&F Concept 52MM Multi-Coated UV Filter is a high quality product. Its build quality is on par with major filter manufacturers like Hoya and Nikon. It comes with an oversized case that I find too bulky. I like the smaller Hoya cases. Still, with a UV filter, you would probably leave the filter on the lens 100% of the time, so you don't need to carry the case. In terms of optical quality, it beats my old Nikon L37 52mm by a mile. My L37 has what looks like no coating at all and is very reflective. The K&F has a green cast to the reflection, indicating the presence of multi-coating. When the K&F looks through the two filters one after the other, it immediately shows higher contrast. Wow, what have I missed? I will be replacing my L37 with the K&F on my old 35mm lens immediately! Comparing them to my Nikon L1Bc 52mm, they look pretty similar to the L1Bc in reflection and transparency, maybe a little better at muting reflections. In other words, the K&F Multicoated UV filter is very comparable to the performance of the Nikon L1Bc without the intended red cast on the L1Bc. In summary, the K&F 52MM UV filter is an excellent filter for lens protection without significantly affecting image quality. It will replace my old L37 in a heartbeat. I'm very happy with it. Pros: - High quality build - Comparable to major brands like Hoya and Nikon - Excellent optical quality - Multi-coating reduces reflections - Higher contrast than Nikon L37 - Comparable to Nikon L1Bc without the red cast - Good lens protection Cons: - The oversized body is bulky and I prefer smaller Hoya cases

I first bought the K&F Nano series filter for one of my lenses. I believe it was for my Nikon 80-200mm F2.8 D ED lens. This lens produces really sharp images at a distance and is not a close focus lens, even noted by Nikon. I bought the lens used and it came with a dented UV filter. I got ghosting and when I removed the filter the ghosting was significantly reduced. I ended up buying several more for my other lenses. I also use B+W filters. Well-made filters too, but a little more expensive. The K&F is by no means a $100 filter, but for the price it does what I need it to do. I particularly like the grease and water-repellent nano-coating. Worked well when I was shooting at the beach. The sea fog is easy to remove,
We really don't need UV filters anymore with digital because UV doesn't interfere with the sensor like it did with film. I just use them to avoid having to constantly clean the front elements of my lenses. I think keeping this to a minimum will prevent potentially scratching the element. I know there are a few schools of thought on this subject, but I just do what I'm comfortable with. From what I've read and can tell, the filter is glass and not plastic, which is nice these days. I have them on all my lenses now and am happy with them.

While UV filters are helpful in film photography to remove color casts, UV filters are no longer necessary for the image quality of most consumer digital sensors because a UV filter is installed in the sensor stack (unless modified or made for astrophotography). On the other hand, UV filters are also commonly used as lens protection for digital devices. Although I don't usually leave protective filters on my lenses, I do use a UV filter in adverse conditions (wet, dusty, dirty). This filter offers excellent transparency: - I can't see any anomalies in the glass - No noticeable degradation in image quality - No noticeable discoloration - Low reflectivity coatings designed for easy cleaning and scratch resistance - Well-shaped ring and threads - Satisfyingly thin form factor - Nicely anodized ring - Knurling aids in installation and removal - Hard case - Add 72mm lens cap, lanyard, and microfiber cloth Value Misses? - There is no label on the filter case. Since I don't like carrying boxes, I make my own label. - The filter case is a bit large since it is designed to hold the filter with the lens cap installed. I usually look for ways to make my kit smaller. - The added items detract somewhat from the value proposition if you are just looking for a good filter. No major misses, but worth pointing out. I have had several K&F products over the years. Well designed and with great attention to detail. The quality has never disappointed me. This is no exception. Worth considering. Recommended accordingly.

This MC UV Lens Filter has been a great addition to my gear. I already had a CPL filter from K&F and it is around the same size. The build quality is good. It's super slim, feels sturdy and reliable, and no vignetting from what I saw.

The coatings on this filter reduce reflections and ghosting. I tried sunny and cloudy conditions and the filter worked great with both. It also works as a protector for my main lens. As a physical barrier against dust, dirt, scratches, and accidental bumps, it gives peace of mind.

Finally, it does include a lens cap and cleaning cloth which are nice. The cap fits securely and the cleaning cloth is just your standard microfiber. I would say this filter is a great value for the price you pay.

I needed a UV protective filter for a new lens, so I picked up this K&F Concept 72mm MCUV Lens Protection Filter with Lens Cap. K&F is a brand I really like for reasonably priced filters. The other K&F filters I have are all very sharp and do not introduce any visual anomalies into my photographs. However, the extremely low price of this filter made me wonder if corners might have been cut. As far as I can tell, based on limited use, that is not the case. The filter uses AGC glass with 18 layer multi-coating, and all the shots I have taken with it on the lens are sharp and clear. I like the deeply knurled edge that makes it easy to grip even though it is very thin, and the filter threads on smoothly. I also like that it comes with a lens cap, a lanyard, and a cleaning cloth. It is a very nice package and a great value. If I notice any issues as I use it more, I will update this review.

The 'K&F Concept 67mm UV Filter Ultra Slim Japan Optics Multi Coated Ultraviolet Protection Lens Filter with Lens Cap' arrived in a branded box.

The lens is in a plastic case for protection, it also serves to protect one side of the filter, whilst the opposite side is protected by the lens cap.

The filter was an easy fit to my Nikon P900 and as it is slightly wider than some filters I found it easy to unscrew after use. I would however recommend carrying a suitable filter wrench just in case.

It would be nice to see a cover for the side of the filter not protected by the lens cap a the lens filter with cap attached are stored in a cellophane envelope in the case, I suggest putting the filter/cap combination into the envelope with the lens cap the same side as the flap which keeps the adhesive as far away from the lens as possible.

It would be nice to see a protective cover for the second side of the filter, maybe something push on.
