As a low voltage wire installer, precision and efficiency are important in my line of work. Endoscope Cameras have proven to be an indispensable tool, elevating my ability to navigate tight spaces and troubleshoot with unparalleled accuracy. While I have a much more expensive endoscope that includes a portal screen, it is large enough I often don't bring it in gear, and find myself needing it, but don't have it. The portability of this endoscope allows me to leave it in my center console and pair with my phone or someone else after a quick app install. I used the endoscope by fishing through an existing in-wall pilot hole to confirm location on new drill hole. With the included mirror attachment I was able to get the revers view of the pilot hole which is a nice feature my other setup does not have. Image quality is clear, and pairing with the app was simple. I will note that if I connect the endoscope before opening the app, the camera does not pair, however if I attach the endoscope of the app is open, pairing in seamless.

The endoscope is delivered in a sturdy case. A USB-A to USB-C cable is included for charging, an extra stand, an Allen key to loosen the camera hose connector and a spare screw for the hose connector. There are also two tools that can be slipped over the camera head, one with a rake and one with a magnetic head, to retrieve lost parts. There is a 32GB micro SD card in the device. A German-language manual is included. The processing quality is very good. All applications work fine. Switching between the three lenses is done on the camera connector, all other functions are attached to the display housing. The long hose is quite stiff, so that you usually need both hands to guide it. I understand that this rigidity is necessary to be able to guide the hose over long distances, but without the screen part being able to be fixed somewhere, it is very difficult to handle. The image resolution of 1920x1080 is ok, I found it a bit difficult to focus in narrow drainpipes. A distance of at least 3 cm is required for the front camera and approx. 2 cm for the side cameras. Despite the small handling problems, I really like the endoscope. With a little training and possibly another person to hold the display, it's very useful.

Both the night vision and the integrated lighting are effective and ensure excellent image quality even in the dark. The notifications and alarms that can be set are particularly interesting: you can be informed of any movement in the whole picture or just in one area (a screenshot is taken automatically), and you can even arm it as an alarm system, so that when motion is detected, a loud alarm goes off and the light turns on. Works perfectly and is really loud.

The connection quality also surprised me positively; I can get a very good picture through several walls without connection problems to the router - but here it always depends on the local conditions.

The only thing I didn't like was that when I take a video or photo with my smartphone, the data is saved in the app but not in the smartphone gallery. I had to send this to a messenger from the app because I couldn't save it either. Not so wild, but wanted to mention it anyway.

I have the lots of endoscopes from the cheap one that is attached to a non-rigid regular usb wire, to a 3 camera one, and now this one. The ability to flex the head is why I bought it. The head size is a bit big, but for my needs, it functions as required.

I have already tried a few endoscope cameras. However, these were not as extensive in terms of functions. They were more suitable for checking cavities. Moving the camera by joystick was not possible with any camera so far. Also, the quality of the images was far from being as good as with this model here.
