When I was looking for a 3-leg tripod for on the go, I decided on this one from K&F. I already have a few of his products and have been quite happy with them so far. Well packed in a box was the tripod with accessories in a transport bag. At first glance, everything made a pretty good impression on me.

The low weight of the tripod was positive right from the start, which is ideal for on the go. Then I took a closer look and I have to say that the integrated selfie stick is very practical. The stand is also good and firm, because the tripod can be set up at a wide angle. I found it a bit cumbersome just getting the stick out of the tripod, but it's possible if you know how ;-)

A BT remote control including a CR2032 battery, a wrist strap for it, English instructions (excerpts, see photos) and a smartphone holder were also included. I liked the holder for the smartphone best, because I don't use the other things.

The locking of the extendable tripod legs was also new to me, because you only have to press the plastic locking either in and out. Ultimately, this results in a good and secure hold. The maximum load of up to 4 kg is top, so I was able to screw on my DSLR camera without hesitation. The processing is okay, the quality of the overall package too, only the operation could not inspire me completely. But overall I'm happy with it because it's also easy to take with you on the go.

On the other hand, the price-performance ratio is good and I can therefore happily recommend this tripod.

SMARTPHONE HOLDER
The simple and very compact smartphone clamp can be folded and has two retaining threads, as well as a cold shoe adapter for attaching accessories (light, microphone...).

REMOTE CONTROL
Useful accessory for self-timer recording. The remote control is very easy and uncomplicated to pair with the smartphone. The battery is already inserted and a strap is also included.

COMPACT DIMENSIONS AND USER-FRIENDLY OPERATION
The tripod can be folded into a very compact pack size. The legs have a rotating mechanism. The direction of rotation for loosening and tightening is printed on the legs. Operation is very simple and intuitive, even for beginners. The weight is not that light, but the tripod is extremely stable and makes a robust impression. The processing quality is good in all areas.

FUNCTIONAL
Another special feature is the functional use. Besides being used as a tripod, it can also be disassembled and used as a selfie stick.

CARRYING CASE
I didn't like the tote swap that much. On the one hand, it's good that a bag is included, but it doesn't make a particularly robust impression. Such a great tripod would definitely have deserved a better bag and would definitely round off the overall impression. Another small minus point is that the tripod does not have a built-in spirit level. Since the tripod is designed for smartphones, you can get over it. My smartphone or the factory camera app shows the angle.

CONCLUSION
I am very positively surprised. In the meantime I have tried different tripod solutions especially for smartphones from different manufacturers. I am very impressed with the quality of this one. A manufacturer unknown to me to date, which is on the same level as products from manufacturers such as Manfrotto.

The complete small set arrives in a small neutral box. In addition to the basic tripod, there is a small bag made of a kind of Oxford material with which you can transport the tripod. A small plastic bag also contains a small Bluetooth trigger with the associated strap and a screw-on holder for the smartphone. An operating manual for the tripod in English and Chinese as well as a small manual for the Bluetooth trigger complete the picture.

The basic tripod weighs around 890g without attachments, which is quite light for such a tripod.
Optimally folded, you reach a length of about 32cm and a diameter of about 10cm. Ideal to take with you on hikes or excursions.

The three legs can be folded down in three stages (approx. 30°, 45° and almost 90°). In this way, a minimum height of around 35cm can be achieved. The legs have three extensions that can be pulled out and locked in place. So you can balance the tripod very well on sloping and uneven floors. A small spirit level on the tripod would have been ideal for this, but unfortunately it was not used. The rubber foot must be turned to the left, then all three extensions are released and can be adjusted. The set length is locked by turning it briefly to the right. However, the structure of the legs and the lock is kept quite simple and does not make a very stable impression. During the test, it happened to me again and again that a segment or even a whole leg pushed itself back in.

If you pull out the three legs fully and spread them slightly, you will reach a height of around 107cm. The middle rod can also be set in three positions. Locking and releasing also works as with the tripod legs. If the middle rail is also fully extended, you get a maximum height of around 168cm, which is quite impressive for such a small tripod. When fully extended, however, the low weight becomes noticeable, the tripod is not very stable and tends to wobble slightly, especially in strong winds. It is therefore not suitable for long exposures.

To attach a camera or lighting fixture, the tripod has a simple ball head that can be continuously tilted up to 90°. Compact cameras, small bridge cameras or at most one small system camera can be easily and securely mounted on it, heavier cameras such as DSLR or video cameras are definitely too heavy for the system.

If you loosen the lower cover on the center drive, the middle rod can be removed and used as a selfie stick or small monopod

A smartphone can also be attached using the included adapter. This can be mounted either horizontally or upright, for which two tripod threads are available on the adapter. The mobile phone is attached by spring action, the retaining clips are rubberized. A minimum of 6cm and a maximum of almost 9.5cm width can be inserted as a smartphone.
The included trigger is also intended for use with a smartphone. Using Bluetooth, it can be easily integrated into a mobile phone as an input device. The two applied triggers are labeled Camera 360 - IOS and Android, but both buttons have the same function. With my cell phone, the shutter release didn't work at first, only the zoom was activated. After trying out the camera settings, I found the culprit. You had to change the function of the volume buttons from zoom to shutter, then it worked without any problems.

The tripod is well made and makes a stable impression. The height can be adjusted very flexibly.
For the test I only have a DJI Actioncam and my smartphone, both of which the tripod can withstand with ease. In my opinion, no system camera would hold up either, but maybe not with the largest lens. The pack size is perfectly fine, so you can take the tripod with you on any tour. I am very happy with it!

Recently I was looking for a normal, cheap and yet well built tripod to be able to take some great photos outdoors with my smartphone camera. But what I experienced here made my jaw drop.First of all: I have already had experience with tripods, both professional and Canon as well as conventional ones. But this one surpassed everything I've known before. When I took the product out of its packaging, I found a carrying case that was pleasantly well made for the price and contained the packaged tripod.

Nice tripod, smartphone holder included (unexpected bonus!). Works well and is easy to set up. The ball head requires some training but offers good flexibility. The tripod is heavier than I expected for "lightweight carbon fiber".

In summary: Impressive for beginners and amateurs, easy to use. Pretty shaky without stabilization at this zoom. In detail: Compared to my outdated binoculars, I, as a layman, am impressed by the magnification and, above all, the zoom option. The sharpness can be adjusted very well and easily. I cannot measure the magnification power myself. At full zoom, however, it is difficult to hold the monocular freely in your hand - you should hang it up somewhere or use the tripod. The tripod is not particularly large or stable, so it only serves its purpose to a limited extent. A very nice feature is the holder for the smartphone: you clamp the device in the holder, align the opening with your smartphone camera and fix everything with an adjusting screw. Then the holder is clamped onto the telescope. I had to stabilize and hold my Pixel 6 here because it is relatively heavy and the construction does not hold securely. Depending on the camera, there is strong vignetting. Tip: If the smartphone camera has an optical zoom switch to zoom, I was able to almost completely remove the vignetting. It takes a bit of practice to get a sharp, shake-free image. Then you can certainly land one or the other snapshot. Alternative to the camera with telephoto zoom? - No way. A nice feature and good for the occasional snapshot in the garden? - Surely.

The lens in question is one of the few zooms available for sale, as most telephoto lenses have a fixed magnification factor. This allows you to set the optical magnification factor. At first glance, the system seems a bit smart, but if you take your hand, it's very easy to set. The instruction manual is indeed somewhat lacking. In practice, you must first center the telephoto mount on the phone and center it on the smartphone's main camera. Next you need to attach the lens to the mount and possibly set everything on the small tripod that comes with it. Opening the camera app, we immediately see a small circular image on the display, so you have to use the smartphone's zoom to enlarge the image until the screen is completely filled. At this point you can adjust the lens, both focus and magnification, and then we're ready to take photos or videos. Obviously, due to the magnification, the smartphone needs to be held as still as possible, so it's better to use the tripod. If you get acquainted with this procedure, everything will be much easier.
