I purchased this after reading the reviews and also because I needed a long camera flex scope. I had to travel to CT from NC to survey a trimaran that was interested in purchasing and did indeed purchase. I specifically needed to inspect the stainless chainplates that secure the mast shrouds. This was a racing rig and this securement is super critical and needs to be well inspected. Of course they were inaccessible expect in one had a camera endoscope type device, which I did. I hadn't even tested the Tesslong out before the flight but I did charge it up. I was super simple to use. The cable is indexed for proper orientation. Attach and turn it on and put it to work ! Super clear images well lit also ! I high recommend for any type of mechanical inspection. You will need a micro sd adapter card for a few dollars to view your saved photos on a computer. Plastic instrument doesn't seem to be made of high impact plastic or rubber coated plastic so I would handle it with care. The case is high impact plastic and the instrument is well protected in the case. Battery life seemed well within what I need for the days work.

At 16 mm there is no vignetting or any type of artifacts. The lens cap holds just enough, at least on the two lenses I have mounted it on. Good customer service and delivery as always.

have been using filters of this type as lens protection for decades. This fits my lenses easily and seems to have good clarity and flatness. I don't have the instrumentation to do a full technical test, but so far so good. Don't let the packaging and name fool you into thinking this is a classic brand with a long corporate heritage. K&F or “Kent Faith” is a Chinese company founded in 2011 to manufacture and sell photography accessories. The vaguely British-sounding name and German-looking packaging are intended to evoke thoughts and feelings of a premium brand association.

The other product doesn't have a tripod stand and the camera mount didn't fit, so I bought this one. This product also comes with a tripod and fits the camera mount. It is noteworthy that the distance button on the lens side was designed as a slide button. According to other people's reviews, it looked like a push button, but it was a sliding type. What I received wasn't like a push button, it was a sliding type that was easy to understand. I'm pleased that it's easy to use and seems to have been changed.

Good workmanship and finish. A little too much resistance to mount the lenses on the adapter (especially the old AIS, while it's softer on the DX series with plastic mount). Perfect attachment to the camera. Good drawing accuracy: When focusing on infinity, the focus is the same as the focus. WARNING: This adapter is only suitable for optics (AI or AIS) as the adapter does not allow adjustment of the iris in type G lenses without an iris ring. Other adapters also allow the diaphragms to be adjusted on G-type lenses, even if they do not allow a shutter with constant 1-stop variations.

The adapter fits well and does what it is supposed to do. You expand the type of pictures you take because new lenses or already existing other systems can be used so well. You just have to keep in mind that the electronics will not surpass and the autofocus. You would have to dig much deeper into your pocket for that. If that doesn't bother you, you can access it. I'm giving 4 stars so no one thinks this is a purchased review.

Tested on an X-T1. This ring is compatible with Nikkor G-type lenses — a lens that doesn't have an aperture ring, like the 105 AFS 2.8 Macro, thanks to the silver ring that controls the 6-notch lens aperture. Of course you lose the autofocus of the lenses, but not the automatic exposure, when you are in mode A. Good firmness of the mount, nothing moves. It is also compatible with the older AF-D series lenses (85, 105). In this case, the lens aperture ring is operational. Precision: With AF-D lenses, the aperture ring on the K&F ring is operational, with function dependent on lens aperture ring position.

The lens is great. For my type of photography (I mainly photograph people, see also Instagram 'uwe2756') it replaces all other lenses, with a really great imaging performance (open aperture). However, it has its price. And it's big and quite heavy. When I'm shooting and concentrating on the model, it's not that important anymore. So far I've had three lenses in my bag, the Tamron 28-75 f2.8; the Tamron 70-180 f2.8 and the Sony 85 f1.8. Now I only have this lens (on my A7 III with battery grip) with me. I am absolutely delighted and can recommend it unreservedly.
