needed a tripod that can handle the extra weight of a telephoto lens.This is perfect for the task, it feels solid and well built.It is smooth as butter in movements ( all fluid)Perhaps the 4 part kegs could have been 3 part but in all a great tripod for the money.

I was trying to update the UV filter on my telephoto lens and this looked like a great option. The glass is very clear and doesn't cause any problems or artifacts with my photos.

It's nice to be able to get super telephoto shots with a handheld lens. The downside is that the tripod mount comes off easily and rattles quickly. I tightened it and treated it with Loctite.

The lens in question is one of the few zooms available for sale, as most telephoto lenses have a fixed magnification factor. This allows you to set the optical magnification factor. At first glance, the system seems a bit smart, but if you take your hand, it's very easy to set. The instruction manual is indeed somewhat lacking. In practice, you must first center the telephoto mount on the phone and center it on the smartphone's main camera. Next you need to attach the lens to the mount and possibly set everything on the small tripod that comes with it. Opening the camera app, we immediately see a small circular image on the display, so you have to use the smartphone's zoom to enlarge the image until the screen is completely filled. At this point you can adjust the lens, both focus and magnification, and then we're ready to take photos or videos. Obviously, due to the magnification, the smartphone needs to be held as still as possible, so it's better to use the tripod. If you get acquainted with this procedure, everything will be much easier. Purchased the filter for my Lumix telephoto lens 100 -300 mm, first I had an ND filter ND2 - ND 400
could not take sharp images when filming in telephoto, which has now been done with the ND 8 -128 filter. The filming is now sharp as they should be.

I mainly use it on a Fujifilm telephoto lens for videos. The image quality is very good with no imaging errors, relatively easy to screw on and off, hard protective cover.

Recommended for anyone looking for a good quality fixed ND filter.
