like this polarizer, it reduces light on my Sony by a couple of stops, but it's not as strong as I expected for a $20 polarizer. It's pretty clear with very little distortion, although I don't compare it to a test chart to be completely sure it's uniform. I like that it includes a lens cap and sealed microfiber cloth. One issue I had with this filter is that the threads bind a little with my high end black and white filter. This is why I never test cheaper filters with my bear lens threads. I also had trouble fitting both the original 72mm cap and my own Sony 72mm cap, so something must be off with the shape of the filter. All in all, it's really not a bad filter. For all I know, the issues I had may have been due to shipping, although the filter appears to be in perfect condition.

use the tripod stationary at home for photos and videos (Sony a7 or Sony a6000). The tripod fits my size 100%. Price/performance and quality also fit from my point of view. Personally, I would go for traveling or hiking (if I should need it) get a slightly lighter tripod.

Using with my Sony E 11mm 1.8. The lens cap is also a nice bonus.

I picked this up to use with my Sony A6400 with Sigma 30mm 1.4. This is my go-to set-up for taking pictures of the family/kids but wanted this filter to be able to shoot wide-ish open during the middle of the day. So, basically it does exactly what it's supposed to do; there wasn't any noticeable distortion, softening or color changes, and it was able to drop my shutter speed enough to not blow out the highlights. What I really like is the knobs that allow you to change the ND intensity quickly - this is an absolute life-saver for shooting toddlers and young kids, as they are the fastest things on the planet and they're not going to wait for you to change the filter on your camera. The only negative is the need to potentially get a new lens cap as the filter diameter is larger than the lens cap diameter. This is addressed in the description, but it's just something to keep in mind. Overall though, it's a nice filter.

I use a Sony camcorder with a lens cap that rolls under a stage from time to time. These lens caps fix that problem. I was able to order a 62mm and it fits! I didn't think I would need to tie the string that comes with the cap, but I was able to figure out that the lens cap attaches to the lens hood with a simple knot, and you're good to go. The cord that comes with the caps is a well made, rubbery cord. It's not just a piece of string. So I will never have to replace the lens cap.

use the lens on my a6000. Processing and haptics are really good. At f/1.8 it's a little soft. As soon as you stop down a little, the sharpness increases and leaves almost nothing to be desired. However, I have to say that in terms of sharpness, it doesn't come close to the Sigma 60mm 2.8. I had ordered the Sony to have more light intensity with 1.8 and to be able to use the OIS. But since I have to stop down to 2.8 to get really sharp photos, the only advantage the Sony has over the Sigma is the stabilizer. If you can do without the stability and the light intensity of the Sony, I recommend the Sigma. Especially since it's cheaper too!

Overall, really good quality lens and it is a breeze to install. The Magnetism is strong and the lens cap does not fall off nor does the filter. It has just the right amount of magnetism to keep everything in place.

It's my first ND filter and I'm totally satisfied, it's made of glass and looks high quality.

I've used it with my Sony A6000 and haven't noticed any overly noticeable dominance or aberration.
