This is not an astronomy camera, it's a general purpose battery-powered, image-stabilized audio/video color camera. It communicates with your smartphone or tablet via WiFi. I dreagged out a rescued-from-the-trash 102mm el-cheapo refractor, clamped the camera on its eyepiece, and quickly focused on a fake windmill three miles away. I also tried shooting right into the low-angle sun glare in the ocean and the camera didn't blink (like I did)--the automatic gain control took it in stride. Mind you, the telescope made things seem close, not the camera--all it does is replace your eye. This is good because that means you can clamp it onto anything you might look through, such as a riflescope or microscope, or even just point it out the window. Set up is a little fiddly, but if you've hooked up a camera with its own WiFi hotspot it will be a snap. Select the camera wifi hotspot in your camera's settings and then use the app. In short, if you like cool stuff, this is well worth the money.

I am extremely impressed with its performance. The dual lens setup provides crystal clear images and videos, with impressive clarity both day and night. The night vision mode, in particular, offers clear visuals even in complete darkness.

When opened, this security camera kit comes with everything needed to install it on a wall, post or fence. The main camera is a separate unit from the solar panel. If the camera is shaded, the solar panel can still be positioned on its own mount facing the sun. A small cable connects the two units. Build quality is about average so I would put this in the range of a budget camera that says it's waterproof so it can be used all year round. I cannot comment on value for money as this is listed as unavailable at the time of writing. I would recommend doing a full charge via the USB cable before attaching and setting up. Then the solar panel should help maintain the battery level depending on the position and the number of sunny days. I've found that the solar panel doesn't work at all on cloudy days, so a lot depends on where you live and if it's south facing. Once the camera has been powered on, it can be paired and set up in the free app that can be downloaded onto a smart device. The image can also be zoomed but I find the quality drops so I wouldn't normally use it. The HD picture is at 1080p and streams over 2.4GHz WiFi without too many hiccups, this depends on the router setup of roughly. Along with a fairly decent daytime image, this also has an automatic night mode using infrared, which again is clear enough to be able to spot identifying features if needed. I found this to be far better than some other budget cameras I've used that could only see at night what I could see looked like blurry ghosts lol. If you can't run from mains power or just need the convenience of a cordless option, you can't go wrong with this set. The solar powered Surveillance camera is very good due to the portability. Detection is quick and video quality is good. Other reviews have had problems with the camera on their WiFi network. As long as there is a good strength WiFi signal and your upload speed is above 2 mbs there should be minimal problems.

I think I found the ultimate security camera. Bought this camera after a friend of mine recommended this brand. He is a photographer and used some of their products in the past and seemed really happy with them. Also, after a few hours of research, this camera seemed the only one to have all the features I was looking for, so thought I should give it a try.
Just like on the specs, you get everything they claim. The camera has a built in battery with a high capacity so you shouldn't run out of power, no matter what. This is also guaranteed by the solar panel which you get together. Both of them are waterproof and suitable for outdoors, which is amazing.

When it comes to storage, you have a micro SD slot which supports up to 128GB or if you wish you can store your footage over their cloud service. Obviously you would have to pay a monthly fee.

But, what I like the most about it is the pan/tilt/zoom feature which allows you to remotely control from within the mobile app, a very large area. The footage is on 1080p so it's very clear, even on night vision. Another great feature is the PIR sensor which is optimised to reliably detect people and large pets, and you can also modify its sensitivity from within the app. The night vision is both black&white and colour thanks to the flood lights installed in the front of the camera.

The connectivity is through your wifi so if you are planning on buying more than one camera, when you install them, you need to make sure they are within your wifi range and they have a strong signal, otherwise they won't work properly. Or you can buy a wifi extender.

The app that controls the device is very user friendly, so easy to install for people that are less tech savvy. And you can basically control everything from within it. You can share the device with other people, you can check the battery charging level and modify the power saving settings. Modify the motion detection sensitivity. You can take screen shots or record videos whenever you want. You can even set time periods for when you want the camera to detect motion and record videos. So basically, everything you can think of is within that app.

The only downside I could find is that it is a bit pricy. I've used a few RING cameras in the past and they were really good and slightly cheaper. But none of them had all these features. So if you are looking for a security camera that has everything, and willing to pay the price for it, than this is probably the best choice.
