► What the cameras can do - Requirements for good reception
Based on my previous experiences with other cameras of this or a similar type, I was not disappointed here either, although I prefer operation via LAN cable, at least indoors, for fundamental reasons.

The respective image from the surveillance camera is detailed and sharp during the day. If you zoom in (digitally), this is more or less at the expense of the sharpness, despite 2K, because there is no optical zoom. In night vision mode and tending to low light and in the dark, the image is still satisfactory and not faint and blurry. Then black and white without light, but ok
If, on the other hand, the spotlight is activated, you have color and more details even in the dark. This is a certain added value and may also serve as a deterrent, whereby the infrared mode detects movements and then activates the light, while the alarm mode lives up to its name... ;-) The area to be monitored regularly should be narrowed down as precisely as possible in
advance , so that the camera despite motor. Control does not need to be panned in the main viewing area. Not to forget the important remote access: this worked quite well in the test, as long as you are not stuck in a dead spot, you will (hopefully) be notified in good time if something happens.

An occasional data backup (PC or similar) can't do any harm anyway, although the question is what third parties want to do with the recordings... (unless thieves break in and cover up tracks...). The cloud service is therefore not absolutely necessary here.

►►► Conclusion: Overall, the camera makes a good impression in terms of equipment and also visually. Ensure the best possible reception, because there are many sources of interference lurking in the 2.4 GHz network, which can have an unfavorable effect. If that works, you get a smooth, sharp picture during the day, with a limited wide angle, but also motor. Steering. The resolution in the dark is also good using the spotlight, although a number of details can also be made out at a distance in addition to the color view.

Note: Alarms ("warning notifications") via motion detection/sounds are possible, ok for my purposes and therefore usable. Remote access also works, which means extra security on the go. Nevertheless, if there are any problems (too many/too few alarms), you should generally tinker a little and avoid moving backgrounds or background noise as much as possible.

Despite the lack of long-term experience, there are also four stars from a price point of view because I like the scope of services.

I've bought quite a few K&F Concept Surveillance Cameras so far and i have no complaints when it comes to setting these up. I have a mesh network at home so wifi signal is great at home. Set up is very simple. I wanted something that anyone could use via the app which i haven't had any complaints from any of the household members.

The complete small set arrives in a small neutral box. In addition to the basic tripod, there is a small bag made of a kind of Oxford material with which you can transport the tripod. A small plastic bag also contains a small Bluetooth trigger with the associated strap and a screw-on holder for the smartphone. An operating manual for the tripod in English and Chinese as well as a small manual for the Bluetooth trigger complete the picture.

The basic tripod weighs around 890g without attachments, which is quite light for such a tripod.
Optimally folded, you reach a length of about 32cm and a diameter of about 10cm. Ideal to take with you on hikes or excursions.

The three legs can be folded down in three stages (approx. 30°, 45° and almost 90°). In this way, a minimum height of around 35cm can be achieved. The legs have three extensions that can be pulled out and locked in place. So you can balance the tripod very well on sloping and uneven floors. A small spirit level on the tripod would have been ideal for this, but unfortunately it was not used. The rubber foot must be turned to the left, then all three extensions are released and can be adjusted. The set length is locked by turning it briefly to the right. However, the structure of the legs and the lock is kept quite simple and does not make a very stable impression. During the test, it happened to me again and again that a segment or even a whole leg pushed itself back in.

If you pull out the three legs fully and spread them slightly, you will reach a height of around 107cm. The middle rod can also be set in three positions. Locking and releasing also works as with the tripod legs. If the middle rail is also fully extended, you get a maximum height of around 168cm, which is quite impressive for such a small tripod. When fully extended, however, the low weight becomes noticeable, the tripod is not very stable and tends to wobble slightly, especially in strong winds. It is therefore not suitable for long exposures.

To attach a camera or lighting fixture, the tripod has a simple ball head that can be continuously tilted up to 90°. Compact cameras, small bridge cameras or at most one small system camera can be easily and securely mounted on it, heavier cameras such as DSLR or video cameras are definitely too heavy for the system.

If you loosen the lower cover on the center drive, the middle rod can be removed and used as a selfie stick or small monopod

A smartphone can also be attached using the included adapter. This can be mounted either horizontally or upright, for which two tripod threads are available on the adapter. The mobile phone is attached by spring action, the retaining clips are rubberized. A minimum of 6cm and a maximum of almost 9.5cm width can be inserted as a smartphone.
The included trigger is also intended for use with a smartphone. Using Bluetooth, it can be easily integrated into a mobile phone as an input device. The two applied triggers are labeled Camera 360 - IOS and Android, but both buttons have the same function. With my cell phone, the shutter release didn't work at first, only the zoom was activated. After trying out the camera settings, I found the culprit. You had to change the function of the volume buttons from zoom to shutter, then it worked without any problems.

I have and have had a few tripods for my cameras and can therefore judge quite well what a tripod is like. I didn't expect much from this one for the price and intended use (primarily cell phones) and assumed that it wasn't particularly stable. I thought wrong then.

It arrived well packed in an extra bag in the box. When I unpacked it, I was impressed by how well made it is and how stable it is in the end. It's also quite small when folded, but can eventually become quite large. To extend the feet, you have to turn them and they are unlocked and you can pull them out. To lock, turn it in the opposite direction. However, I would be a bit careful with this mechanism, because it can also come loose quickly. A camera with a little more weight should not be left unattended.

The piece in the middle can be removed and used as a monopod or selfie stick. To do this, you take the middle piece out of the actual tripod and turn it to unlock it, then you can pull it out quite a bit and then you lock it again.
Even as a selfie stick, it's pretty stable and well made.

There is also a mobile phone holder and a remote control, but I have not tested them because I will use it for a small camera, because it is absolutely sufficient for that. But I wouldn't use it for heavier, larger and more expensive cameras, because then I wouldn't trust the tripod.

The ball head is easy to loosen and tighten. With smaller cameras, it also holds wonderfully.

Summarized:

- Very small when folded, but very large when unfolded
- Not too heavy (I think it's still okay for the size)
- Nice and stable, but I wouldn't exhaust the specified 4 kg

Try out several possible locations for attaching the WLAN camera, provided you can also place the solar panel well. So far I have had good experiences (including reception), although any reception problems and jerky playback are not necessarily to be attributed to the camera. DECT telephones and heavily loaded 2.4 GHz networks can also be considered sources of interference.

As for the product itself, the power is not sufficient to charge a camera even when it is perfectly aligned in the sun.

The panel maintains the battery level of the camera but fails to charge it.

Cable length is good so that there is enough slack to place the panel.

I was given the item free of charge for a test, but this fact is not reflected in my reviews. If something is no good, then I write it that way.

Everything you need to get started right away is included in this kit. The device and all the accessories come in a small plastic case. With some devices, there is sometimes the problem that once unpacked, it does not fit back into the case. In this case, however, everything can be conveniently stored again without problems, the space for this is more than generously designed.
The main part houses the 4.3-inch color screen and the controls. The whole thing is very robust and also feels valuable. The controls are easily accessible and also respond very well to pressure. Operating the device is no problem with them. I only had no success with switching cameras in the various menus at the beginning. These are self-explanatory and clear, but switching here was not possible. Even in the (not exactly extensive) manual was nothing to find about it. After a long search I found the button: It is located directly on top of the connector that connects the optics to the device. This connects to the top right and is about 5m long. It is relatively stiff, but it can be maneuvered well in tight spaces. The image quality of all three cameras is good, and the lighting is also bright enough to make even small details visible, but not so bright that when you are closer to an object, it can then only be seen as a white spot.
The scope of delivery also includes an SD card. With 32GB, it is also large enough to store a lot of photos or videos on it.
It is powered by a built-in battery, so the whole thing can be used very flexibly, so you do not necessarily have to have a power outlet nearby. The battery can be charged via USB-C plug, and the cable is also included.
Furthermore, two tool tips are included, which can be attached to the camera. This is very practical when, for example, dirt has to be removed in order to inspect the material underneath.

All in all, everything you need is supplied here for about A$210 (as of 04/22), and in excellent quality, too.

We have purchased 3 of the K&F Concept Surveillance Cameras and there super easy to install, quality is great and the app works really well. Sometimes there is a slight 3-5 second delay if you want to view the video camera live but keep in mind it's wireless and goes to sleep when not in use to save battery, if you need super constant security you can just tweak the settings and forgo battery life or just purchase the wired ones. We currently are in a rental and this solved our problem perfectly, very happy.
