We have several devices around the house and to try see if it worked one of us moved devices around and the other would later come in to try the device. It works. I recommend it for peace of mind.

Wireless saved me the trouble of having to run wires down my driveway, but another big thing for me was that the receiver provided me a contact closure that i can tie into my phone system. So whether, i'm in the house, barn shop, or kennel, when someone comes up my driveway, I will know.

Another cool feature is "Pause" which allows me to leave the house, without disturbing my family if they are still sleeping. After 30 minutes, the alarm comes out of Pause mode.

The one negative is the occasional false alarm, that seem to happen on windy days.

I've cleaned my AirPods, especially the hidden spots that other things don't reach.
