This little camera is a great value for the buck. I now own several that are being utilized as trail cameras and security on a small farm. I can depend on these cameras to perform well in all climates. Had several of them for a few years and they have out lasted my Mountie and several other “big” name cameras.

not with this security camera - you can choose between the cloud or install your own micro sd card for video files that are saved as 5-minute clips in mp4, timestamped and dated so you can easily transfer to your mac/pc and browse footage in real time instead of streaming it (this can be cumbersome on a poor internet connection). I have 6 security cameras from this brand that use the same app, so I can easily swipe between all the cameras in different locations. The solar powered Surveillance camera is very good due to the portability. Detection is quick and video quality is good. Other reviews have had problems with the camera on their WiFi network. As long as there is a good strength WiFi signal and your upload speed is above 2 mbs there should be minimal problems.

The detection is not very accurate, in some places, it gives erroneous readings and nothing is found.

Bought for a child, instead of a simpler model that detected poorly and randomly, this one detects well, even covered objects.
Edit of December 30, 2022: the detector was tested by a 7-year-old child: this product is well suited for children of this age. The dial seems complex, but our little treasure hunter quickly learned how it works: there are 3 buttons: one to switch on/off and control the volume of the detection beeps; one to select the type of metals being searched (by default we have set to “all metals”) and one for detection sensitivity. Note that we find it quite sensitive even at the minimum setting.
I was worried that the child would have trouble using it for a long time because of the weight but that is not the case.
In use, the child had a lot of fun looking for “treasures” in the gardens: we did not find anything of value (rusty nails, a piece of fork...) but we get caught up in the game because it is exciting when the device detects and sounds and then, when the metal object has been found, we wonder how it got there...
A good pastime.

Night vision images are very clear. Motion detection is pretty fast and picture quality is great.

I bought this camera for certain features and it has exceeded all expectations. The movable cameras are a bonus. Sound leaves a little to be desired but otherwise it is an excellent unit

All in all a very good camera for the price!
