I like to take pictures of stars and animals from far away. I use a Samsung S10 and the optical zoom is only 2x. I got this 28x zoom on my phone and I can see the moon, stars and animals in the morning clearly. The lens is pretty heavy, it's solid. The tripod helps with stabilize the phone.

This little camera is a great value for the buck. I now own several that are being utilized as trail cameras and security on a small farm. I can depend on these cameras to perform well in all climates. Had several of them for a few years and they have out lasted my Mountie and several other “big” name cameras.

not with this security camera - you can choose between the cloud or install your own micro sd card for video files that are saved as 5-minute clips in mp4, timestamped and dated so you can easily transfer to your mac/pc and browse footage in real time instead of streaming it (this can be cumbersome on a poor internet connection). I have 6 security cameras from this brand that use the same app, so I can easily swipe between all the cameras in different locations. I find the set a bit bulky to make its use very versatile; but you just have to get used to it.

It is very good that the camera can be controlled via the app. Zoom also works.
You can also be alerted via cell phone in case of movement or noise. It is important here that the app receives the appropriate permissions.

Night vision is good, with the integrated LEDs it can also illuminate the surroundings.

With such cameras, which are accessible via the Internet, you have to trust the manufacturer, because you can not make any security settings yourself. You also have to hope that the manufacturer will react quickly when security holes are found, and update the firmware.

I bought this microscope for my son but now I use it more. Very good optical zoom and 4x digital zoom makes it perfect. Since it is a digital device, one can capture the image and store it on the memory card for future reference. Battery life is good.

All in all a very good camera for the price!
