This little camera is a great value for the buck. I now own several that are being utilized as trail cameras and security on a small farm. I can depend on these cameras to perform well in all climates. Had several of them for a few years and they have out lasted my Mountie and several other “big” name cameras.

not with this security camera - you can choose between the cloud or install your own micro sd card for video files that are saved as 5-minute clips in mp4, timestamped and dated so you can easily transfer to your mac/pc and browse footage in real time instead of streaming it (this can be cumbersome on a poor internet connection). I have 6 security cameras from this brand that use the same app, so I can easily swipe between all the cameras in different locations. This little IR camera from Kentfaith attaches to your cell phone and does a great job! Sure, the really expensive cameras have more options, better quality pictures, but I have no complaints! The little thing that attaches to your phone has an adjustable length so you can customize the fit, which is really nice. The pictures tell you what you need to know and more. You can record thermal videos and take stills through your cell phone. I use this for paranormal investigations. While I haven't gotten any unexplained entities yet, I have located where the cold air leaks through my front door! Great little item if you want a FLIR but don't have the big bucks!!! I love it!

It's sturdy and gives me a feeling of security. It has many pockets and is therefore very practical.

If you turn on the IR illuminator and turn off the viewer, you think the entire device is off...but the IR illuminator is still on!!!!! You can power the device with a power bank via a USB cable to carry less weight and ensure longer runtime.

All in all a very good camera for the price!
