This little camera is a great value for the buck. I now own several that are being utilized as trail cameras and security on a small farm. I can depend on these cameras to perform well in all climates. Had several of them for a few years and they have out lasted my Mountie and several other “big” name cameras.

not with this security camera - you can choose between the cloud or install your own micro sd card for video files that are saved as 5-minute clips in mp4, timestamped and dated so you can easily transfer to your mac/pc and browse footage in real time instead of streaming it (this can be cumbersome on a poor internet connection). I have 6 security cameras from this brand that use the same app, so I can easily swipe between all the cameras in different locations. My husband is a hunter, and has multiple trail cameras out in the woods. However, he has struggled with them sending him pictures and or the camera not getting good photos due to the angle. Most of the other trail cameras are over $100, not including the batteries or SD card. This camera came with 4 batteries (although it needed 8) and an SD card. It also had an LCD screen, so you can see the angle that the camera is facing which comes in handy if you don't live where you have your cameras hung, so you can see what direction the pictures will be taken when the camera is hung, rather than after the fact.

The market is currently being flooded with trail cameras... and they're all kind of the same. I now have five in use and I see the problem with this model that the stored date is apparently forgotten when the batteries are empty and has to be reset accordingly. So it depends on the battery life. Only 4 batteries have to be installed here - the running time is again sufficiently long due to the mono flash.
In my experience, the quality of the photos and videos is in the upper middle class - the quality of the night photos with a presentably good illumination is even exceptionally good.

I wanted to know weather conditions at my other remote house while away. This station works well. Use lithium batteries if you want readings in the cold winter environment.

I bought 3 pieces for my surveillance cameras that use batteries.

As for the product itself, the power is not sufficient to charge a camera even when it is perfectly aligned in the sun.

The panel maintains the battery level of the camera but fails to charge it.

Cable length is good so that there is enough slack to place the panel.

Bought this after being happy with other K&F cameras. Easy to install. Love the rechargeable batteries. Picture is very clear with video and audio that work really well. Easily configured to the app which makes it very nice to be able to view what’s happening at my house while away. The intercom feature is another plus whenever you’re not home and have deliveries or unwanted solicitation at your door. Would recommend to anyone looking for ease of installation and a quality product that won’t hurt the wallet.
